Mom"s not happy about the leniency the law gave her son so she gives him a little of her own punishment.

This is like the fifth or sixth "I made my rotten kid where an embarrassing sign in public" news story I`ve seen. While the method itself is fine by me, can we stop publicizing this as if it`s a new concept?

"The mother should ask herself how her parenting skills got them here in the first place" ... Really???... A parent can only do so much to instil values and morals into their children, it is up to the child to then decide whether or not to use said morals and values when living their life. A statement like the one you made says one of two things to me, either A) your not a parent or B) you are one of those clueless “Not my child, never could they do such a thing” parent.

I`m with McDuff73 on this one. The mother should ask herself how her parenting skills got them here in the first place and whether this isn`t just going to send the kid even further away from her. I don`t see an example of good parenting here.

Right on! If only more moms were like her, sure there might be a better way to go about trying to help him, but at least she`s doing SOMETHING. Not just standing aside, watching him, and expecting someone else to take responsibility.

All I got was a dead video. And I couldn`t find it searching CNN`s videos. Anyone got a link for this? (or maybe Fancy can fix it?) Thanks!

Raise your kids before they become criminals.

Weird, but at least she`s taking initiative. If we spent as much money helping and rehabilitating young people instead of throwing a fee at them, our society would be a way better place.

Maybe she could get 5 or 6 big guys to put on orange jump suits and yell in his face "DO YOU WANT ME LOOKING AT YOUR BUTT HOLE?!"

May be a little to late but, she is starting to get it. The government is not here to help you. You need to help yourself.

yes more parents should publicly humilate their children in the off chance that the child will grow up with a seething hatred of their parents and go on a drug and alcohol fuelled shooting rampage killing not only the parents but any other poor soul that crosses their paths while they vent said hatred. Or maybe they should just take time to think how they managed to screw their child up enough to make them steal lie and cheat and sell drugs.

Rawrg: Props to your dad! No better way then to show them the inside.

I`m pretty sure I would do the same if my kid did that to.

Judges need to be more creative with there punishments. There are some that would do things like this instead of sending them to jail. No kid This age should be sent to jail, they should be given a punishment that would be belittling and embarrassing

My brother got busted for selling weed to an undercover cop, and our father waited until the day before his trial to bail him out and teach him a lesson. It had a positive effect.

Kids think they`re untouchable and that they can handle anything. A few weeks in jail softens most of them up pretty quickly.

she should wear a sign that says she doesn`t follow nutritional guidelines.

She rocks. Although, now people know who to see when they want to buy their drugs.

When my little brother got a bunch of tickets, the judge told my father he was going to take away my brother`s license. My father told the judge, with all due respect, that the order to suspend my brother`s license wouldn`t make a difference to him. His mother was going to take away a lot more than his license for a lot longer than the judge would. They all had a good laugh, and the judge suspended his license, but not as long as my mother suspended his driving privileges.
