Zero: Apparently you don`t know much about metallurgy, they anneal the iron before they work it like this. It still takes a good deal of power to bend it, just not as much as tempered metal.

My grandpa on my dads side used to make wrought iron fences, screen doors, and other things with a lot of twists like that, my dad calls it scroll work.

From a decorative standpoint, ok that would be a good machine to have. From a practical standpoint, anything weight bearing would be as brittle as a sugar window...

"does this stress the hell out of the metal with all the cold pressing, especially that basket"

I don`t see how it couldn`t. I wouldn`t make a hand rail using this machine. It would be asking for a lawsuit.

"but it doesnt make swords :("

Be glad it doesn`t, any sword made in this manner wouldn`t be worth having.
