I`m not calling fake, but that looks so much like CGI.

Also, those must`ve been some very traumatized fish.

I want to see a time-lapse video of the area upstream of the dam drying out, eroding, and being re-settled by plants.

    "asplosions"???

    *sighs*

I`m beginning to think I`m the wrong demographic for this website... The time I ever see the "word" `asplosion` are here on IAB, and the 12 and 13 year-olds I coach in hockey are quite fond of it.

Here is the main dam removal. A bit less dramatic but, impressive. The power station itself was a beautiful merger of old and new tech. Elwha Power Plant

Before they blew the condit dam they had to flood it. Austin Rathman went over the dam in a kayak.

    Neagle,
You`re confusing two different dam removal projects there bro. Elwha dam was on the Olympic Peninsula in WA on the Elwha River. Condit was on the White Salmon River on the WA side of the Columbia Gorge not far from Hood River, OR.
Not a big deal of course, but they were very different dam removal projects so, for the record.....:)
