Basically, anyone foolish or gullible enough to believe myths #10 through #2 were true, deserves to be fooled by his "correction" to myth #1.
Why the F would you think that blood is blue in the body?
By putting these things together:

1) Any blood vessel most people see on a day to day basis appears to be carrying blue blood (although I`ve heard that they can appear green with the right shade of skin colour and the right light levels).

2) Blood is red outside of the body.

3) Blood carries oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body.

From (3), conclude that blood coming back to the lungs doesn`t have oxygen in it because it`s delivered it all. That`s what blood does, right?

From that conclusion and (1), conclude that deoxygenated blood is blue.

From that conclusion and (2), conclude that it becomes red by absorbing oxygen (a *very* reactive element) from the air.

It`s completely wrong, but it`s not nonsense that only an idiot would think is true.

And why would tap water be bad? -- American marketers have convinced the gullible sheep that populate the United States that it is healthier to spend $2.50 for a bottle of your local water than to just get it out of your own faucet.

If Anyone actually believes any of these facts, I am disappointed with them, and with mankind in general. Why the F would you think that blood is blue in the body? And why would tap water be bad? The water one I had never heard of, of course you should stay hydrated at a reasonable level. And if you believed the bubble gum one or the fan one; seriously?

Furthermore it`s like the Disney and lemmings myth that they wilfully walk off cliffs dieing. It would be kind of weird for insects to wilfully walk into our mouths to die, because surely it can`t be an attractive location for them..... but hmmm nonetheless

I did know these, but love shooting people apart with things like this. My fave is when people ask for a `really bloody steak` thinking this makes them some kind of vampire/nutter. Then you point out the red stuff in steaks is not actually blood..... their whole world is shattered.

Oh....since spiders like "warm, moist places", I can assume that they LOVE Lindsay Lohan`s cooter.

Davymid: I don`t know about them crawling down someone`s mouth, but do know a person that had a roach crawl up his nose into his sinus cavity.

He complained of a stuffy nose, blew it, looked at the tissue (bad move) and quite literally freaked out when he saw it, grew pale and then threw up.

And we`ve seen video of a roach removed from one`s ear canal, so who knows for sure. I really really hope they don`t.

Realistically, the average number of spiders swallowed at night per person per lifetime is probably less than one. After all, most people breathe while they sleep (at least I do) and spiders, like virtually all arthropods, flee from breath. After all, there are lots of vertebrates that EAT arthropods, and if you`re an arthropod and something is breathing on you, it`s not a good idea to stick around. Simple enough.

PLUS to say spiders like warm wet places is RIDICULOUS, most prefer dark, dry, STILL AND NON BREATHING places. come on! now he says it was joke, which i am sure it was. but you guys are eating it up!!

Food inspection agencies actually have standards for the amount of insect parts and rodent hair in flour, probably because it`s very, very difficult to filter them out of the system between field and bakery. Understandable but gross.
Davymid: An Ohio University fact sheet estimates that we eat from one to two pounds of insects each year, and without knowing it.
Yeah, I know and I agree. I was thinking more of how the myth is commonly represented, that common spiders and insects willfully crawl down into our stomachs while we sleep.

@Angilion he made a follow up video about the snopes article saying he contacted snopes about it but they wouldnt reply. the whole eight+ spider thing is still kind of a mystery.

id have to guess it depends on where you live, conditions, and whether you even sleep with your mouth open.

Actually, we do consume more than 8 spiders, but it`s because they fall into the machines that make our food, get mashed, dismembered and fragmented, get packaged, and we never even see, or taste, their tiny bits and we eat them.

I don`t even believe I swallow even one spider in my sleep. There just aren`t that many stupid spiders crawling around. And why spiders? Why not ants or houseflies? They`re way more common and much more likely to explore an open mouth.
And yes you do swallow spiders when you sleep, and I know that from fact. I threw up on a carnival ride once and there was a twitching spider that came up with the vomit.
I doubt if a spider can live in human stomach acid for more than seconds, or even remain an intact corpse for more than a little while, so it`s unlikely you swallowed it while asleep unless you were asleep on the carnival ride. Human stomach acid has a ph of less than 2 - it`s harsh stuff. I think it`s more likely that the spider somehow flew into your mouth as you moved at fairly high speed on the ride and that`s what triggered your vomiting.

Relax, he`s just having everyone on with the spider thing. He did it well, setting it up by telling the truth with the other 9 to establish credibility and only turning the spider one around right at the end.

Spiders, like almost all animals, tend to avoid walking into the open mouth of a much larger animal that might easily eat them. It`s instinctive, even for an animal as near mindless as a spider.

Even better, it appears to have been deliberately made up as a silly thing that people would believe:

Snopes to the rescue!

I knew every last one of these (except for number 2.. I didn`t even know that was an issue for some people).. most of these are obvious. And yes you do swallow spiders when you sleep, and I know that from fact. I threw up on a carnival ride once and there was a twitching spider that came up with the vomit. TMI, I know.. sorry about that.
