I bet she filled out her documents correctly and they drated up. They should at least have to know how she managed to qualify before they drating raid her house.

collegebound-"hope they enjoyed it while it lasted"

`While` it lasted? Hell, they`ll not only get off, but will move into a bigger house on the proceeds of their successful lawsuit about the guv`mint treading on their constitutional right to that `guv`mint stash`.

Nice. I was unemployed for over a year, I refused welfare because I didn`t want to take food from the mouths of those who may need it more than I did.

I was depressed to even accept unemployment checks.

During my unemployment I had to sell quite a bit and the whole situation made me massively depressed till I am now on heavy doses of anti depressants.

What a bunch of dbags. I would love to have five minutes with these people.

"lives in the house" ... who owns it. Rented? Caretaker status?

    Need more info.

Lol... a chiropractor. It`s scams within scams!

Over here in non-crazyville, you`d have to pay an assload in property taxes to live in a place like that.

Also that house is not worth 1.2m... what fool would buy it is beyond me. The architecture is terrible, the living space is barely more than an ordinary suburban house and it`s in america.

Food stamps are such a horrible idea. It doesn`t stop the benefit from being traded for drink or drugs and it debases everyone in the transaction.

It just gives spivs a profit margin.

I remember watching something on the Wutang Clan and ODB (RIP) went and got his welfare check in a limo. It just shows how messed up the system really is.

I think I have already made a comment about this type of issue on an earlier post.( about the women with the 15 kids in a hotel room) unfortunatly this is just one case in hundreds that go on like this.too many people abusing the system.Iam sorry to see my hard earned tax dollars go to this type of crap.I pay about 700 dollars in taxes in one month.I just cant help but wonder..what Could I do with about 700 extra dollars a month in my pocket. So, since when does a "poor person" live better and have nicer things than I do, when I bust my hump for every little thing that I have?Man,where did I go wrong..Did I miss something?? lol...In america it seems like, if you work hard, dont have 10 kids when you cant afford them, go to school, actually make something of your self.you can and will get punished for it.

You know... drat all you over reactors... seriously. How much money do you actually think went to people like this last year? By percent, how much? Because I bet that for every person that cheated the system, there are ten people that are alive and don`t go to sleep cold and hungry because of Welfare. This country takes care of you. It paves your roads to get to work, it pays for police to protect you, firefighters to save your lives and homes. The least you can do is to support programs to keep other people alive, and give them a chance to be as ungrateful as you.

GhettoNinja: Your heavy depression alone, is enough to get you SSI, this is personal knowledge. First I`d say that if you aren`t in some counseling, please get into some, it does help.

Don`t be ashamed to seek help, that is what it is there for, you paid for it when you were working, take advantage of it.

Don`t end up homeless because you `feel` ashamed, at the moment, that`s what happened to me, it sucks. Don`t go down that road, get all the help you can. Don`t let the depression tell you to feel ashamed, that`s how depression perpetuates itself and makes it harder to get out of.

And where did everyone else start? No one was born with money in their pockets. You owe everything to our Government, and the Government owes everything to the people.

Ogen: No one was born with money in their pockets. You owe everything to our Government, and the Government owes everything to the people.

Totally false, Some people are born into better financial circumstances than others, that`s because of their parents hard work, or perhaps lack thereof.

We do NOT "owe everything to our Government", thankfully. If there is anyone we owe, it`s our parents, or guardians, they paid the cost to be the boss until adulthood.

The government is not your parents, they have a horrible record of failure when it comes to instructing children on morals and ethics, and couldn`t care less if they screw it up and create a criminal.

And who won wars to keep their parents and forefathers safe? Who provided enough security and stability to allow someones ancestors to make enough money in order to pamper them into thinking that they are more than just a human who has a right to live?

    It`s the same story.

its easy to do to. insert address, it connects to google streets, it shows them the house. that can be tied into the history of that house, how much it`s worth, etc, and from there whatever financial history they have.

What?! You mean not everyone who is rich EARNED their wealth through HARD WORK? The top 1% are on welfare now too?

Seriously though, if they told me I could sell that PoS for $1+ million, I`d do it in a heartbeat. That thing is ugly.
