"Did anyone hear the announcer at the end saying something about a missing child? What happened to the missing child?"

Psycho mom. Having dealt with stage moms most of my life, I only *wish* they were all this obviously bonkers right on the surface.

Cheerleaders are like the drummer from REO Speedwagon...nobody knows who they are.

@ ketteh - I was not wondering at all.
Cheerleading is not a sport.
Neither is ball room dancing nor competative cooking.

By definition, anything can be a sport. Cheerleaders are like the the bass player in a band; they want to be recognized for their contribution, but anytime either gets a solo... everyone goes to the restrooms.

Just another psycho, troll-faced mom living vicariously through her daughter. She hates her daughter because of how beautiful she is. She`s afraid daddy might be found in bed with 16 year old Alexis one night so mom always sleeps with one eye open.

Whenever I wonder about something, I don`t go with wikipedia as a reference tool.

Do you listen to John Stewart for news, too?

For those who wonder if cheerleading is a sport, let`s check wikipedia!
Cheerleading is a physical activity, sometimes a competitive sport, based on organized routines, usually ranging from one to three minutes, which contain the components of tumbling, dance, jumps, cheers, and stunting to direct spectators of events to cheer on sports teams at games or to participate in competitions. The athlete involved is called a cheerleader.

I bet she`s a real tornado in the sack. And AJ is correct, cheerleading is NOT a sport.

I bet her kid was the missing child. I know if I belonged to that family I would never go home again. The gutter would look much more appealing.

My 4 year old is in cheer leading and loves it. If she ever tells she doesn`t want to do it, we will pull her out.

No more bizarre than those stable individuals who paint their faces the colors of whatever team their into, and prade around bare chested in 20 degree weather with their fat guts and man boobs sloshing around, over working their blood pressures and screaming, after getting drat-faced during the pre-game tailgating festivities(A whole, bizarre sub-culture of it`s own).

Is it just me or did anyone else get the urge to grab a baseball bat and use it to remove her head?

Oh God... I dated a dance/cheer mom once... for almost a year.

The freaky sex was NOT worth the level of insanity she would reach in the days before her daughter`s team competed.
