Hi to the 2013 IABers who followed my link ;-)

@almightybob1: I sure hope you enjoyed my joke...

Clearly this is NOT the version which was shown on TV, that would only be 44 minutes long (apx) without the commercials, correct?

It`s just after the 56:00 mark, save yourself a lot of stammering (um, ah, um) by skipping...

For future reference, 5Cats, there`s no such language as Austrian. In Austria they speak German.

As you were.

You`re right, 5Cats. Obama is a pompous a$$ who clearly deserves no credit for anything he`s done (http://whatthefu ckhasobamadonesofar.com/). Lets pick apart everything he ever says, citing a website that is totally unbiased, dedicated to "exposing the truth." Not that they would possibly, you know, twist words to interpret things in a way that would fit their agenda. We should have voted in McCain and Palin, they were clearly the better option.

Cats, you are entitled to your opinion, but don`t fool yourself into thinking it`s fact. Don`t mean to be rude, but I`m glad you don`t get a vote. Why are you so interested in U.S. politics anyway? If I was Canadian, I`d stay far, far away from our BS.

@Jonix: did you watch on TV? Or online? I don`t watch 60 Minutes, another site said it wasn`t on the TV broadcast. I`m guessing the MOD who put the 55+ minute version up here was trying to suggest I was wrong too, but this clearly is the INTERNET version, which is longer, eh?

#1 Lincoln is a "modern president"???
#2 What OTHER standards do you judge a PotUS by? His clothes? His tattoos? How many Nike comercials he makes while in office?

There`s Forign Policy, and Legislative (which includes Laws, the economy and justice for all) and... and what else exactly?

THEREFOR: Obama`s saying he`s the best PotUS ever! Except POSSIBLY for 3 other guys. I "get that from" what he actually said, not a "translation" m-kay? He`s not speaking Austrian here, that he needs translation.

I watched the full interview before and it wasn`t edited out. I guess you decided you want to personally spread some lies and rumors about the Dems, since you think Repubs are constantly under similar attack? You`re telling me he says "Only FDR, Johnson and Lincoln were better than me." ??? I`m sorry, this is as close as it gets:

"I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our first two years against any president -- with the possible exceptions of Johnson, F.D.R., and Lincoln -- just in terms of what we`ve gotten done in modern history."

This translates more closely to, "I believe our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments during my term, in modern history, are comparable to the greats -- except for maybe Johnson, FDR, and Lincoln who were admittedly far better."

How do you get, "I am the 4th best U.S. president of all time!" from that?? You don`t. Please practice what you preach.

@nubblins: Canadian politics? Now THAT is boring!
@Gerry1, well if you`re a Royalist then bow away! But the PotUS is supposed to NOT bow to anyone. Not even the Pope I would presume.
Perhaps Dalai Lama, he`s a nice guy!
Thanks @aj, I was too tired to further castigate that simpleton.
Speaking of simpletons, Hiya @davymid! Yes a personal insult, I learned it from @Baalthy, lo... oops you don`t like that.
Anyhow, Obama has the MSM covering up for him 24/7 so the lies and crazy ideas never make it to the people.

The only good republican right now is the black sheep of the bunch, Ron Paul for 2012 Republican Candidate!

Not that I think the reps are ready for taking the office, but if anything, Ron Paul has the most ingenious and potentially dangerous ideas.

Obama IS doing good though, I just wish Americans would see how much he has done for everyone rather than what he has done for them personally.

No. I`m laughing less now that George W. Bush is out of the office. That is the moron that choked on pretzels and had a show thrown at him.

He didn`t say he was the 4th best president. :S
He was stating what he believed his accomplishments had been and mentioned his foreign policy accomplishments to be the most important, and then was modest enough to point out three other past presidents who had done better in that area.

Desperate much, 5cats?

Another garbage post from the garbage spawner itself.

I saw it coming, true, but I had to read the description. I propose an update: list who the submitter is on the main page next to the links. That way they`re sure to get the credit! IAB is user-submitted after all!

Honest truth here. Scanning the page, I didn`t even read the full description on this item, or watch the link. Saw the word "Obama", the exclamation mark, and most importantly, saw the 1.6 rating.

Knew it was a 5Cats post right away, clicked on it, and sure enough. And yes, that is the true order of events.

5Cats, dude, we`re bored. You`re not helping.

Obama`s just lame. Not bad, not good....clearly not `great`.

I don`t have a problem with him bowing to royalty. He`s a head of state...equal to a Prime Minister. Therefore a monarch ourtranks him. But then I`m a royalist so I am a bit biased on the subject.

@Malakamike: "you`re" a joke, m-kay?

You DO know what the Greek word "malakas" means, don`t you Mike?

Your poster there is hysterical! "Put Wall Street on notice"! lolz! "Here`s 800 billion bucks, now don`t do it again, or I`ll only give you 600 billion next time!" Oh, Obama "schooled them" fer sher!
the Republicans kept filibustering anything he put forward.
Your misunderstanding of BASIC history is appalling: 60 seat Senate = NO filibusters. House Majority = NO filibusters.

Wait, what? There WAS universal health care in the USA and Nixon took it away? Any Americans remember that? It`s news to me!

@5Cats wtf are you talking about, you really think the republicans know what they are doing, Obama always had his party agreeing with him the Republicans kept filibustering anything he put forward. And America is the only country WITHOUT universal health care and we had it before until Nixon took it away for companies can make money off your health and tell you that being sick is a preexisting condition so you can`t get insurance, and I bet you think republicans having 9/11 first responders prove they aren`t terrorist to get the health care which they DESERVE, made complete sense right? It`s so funny when people watch FOX news and they think they know so much, move your fat a** out the way and let the real people of the country get what they need. Go tea bag your westboro baptist church buddies and go read Sarah Palins book because I bet you think she should be president right. Your a joke, and the majority of Americans think people like you are, stop listening to FOX news.

VV He said: (I paraphrase of course) "Only FDR, Johnson and Lincoln were better than me" Therefor he thinks he`s equal to, or better than, every other PotUS. At least in their first 2 years of office.
He said: "POSSIBLE exceptions" for those three, lolz! He could be #1 in his own mind!!!

HERE is a link which is short and has commentary.

5Cats, I`ll believe you on Republicans not wanting forced insurance, but, if that`s so, why`s it in there? You and I both know that Dems didn`t want it! That`s not our thing. We`re all about universal care for all. To me, and as I understand it, it was a way to get some Republican support because it was pro big business. As I say, I`m not arguing with you, but the bill that passed was no dream to Democrats. And while he celebrated it, it surely wasn`t what the President envisioned or campaigned on.

Like I said, I give him a low C at best, but, I do recognize how handicapped he was coming in, too. Our whole system is so in the tank, I don`t know what will turn it around (if it ever will). :-(

On a related note, I`m reading a novel called "Survivors" by James Wesley Rawles. Scary, scary stuff.

He didn`t say "I`m the 4th best president". He said that he would be willing to compare this administration`s legislative and foreign policy accomplishments with those of any other administration, excepting Johnson, FDR, and Lincoln.

Very different statements. So quit it with the conservative bias and misrepresenting what was said, 5cats.

Most Repubs were totally against "forced insurance" as were many Dems! It`s still in front of the courts if it`s even legal!

Anyhow, the main thing is that Obama views it as a great victory, or something. Like his "jobs bill" he tried the same thing, "don`t read it, just pass it! Hurry!" months ago, and it still hasn`t passed.

5Cats, I agree. By that time, they`d already been wrangling in committee for weeks with no progress. But, consider how "universal healthcare" fell by the wayside and was replaced the requirement to buy insurance. That was most assuredly *not* a DEM point. Too, the bill wouldn`t have passed without some REPUB support (the little that it got), and, that`s how it got it.

So, as you say, and I do agree, when it came out to open debate and discussion, the Republicans were locked out (and I really was disappointed by this), by that time, it`d become clear (because they made it painfully so) that the Republicans weren`t compromising at all with the secret Muslim, socialist president. So, yes, I blame him, most assuredly, and I was disappointed (and have been disappointed in him, and would tell him so), but, too, I`ve been disappointed in all of our politicians for quite some time. I wish they`d get their poo together and think about the country instead of their own in
during that time, he was also worried about trying to be conciliatory and trying to work with the Republicans to compromise on issues.
LOLZ! @Smagboy1, he did nothing of the sort!
Repubs weren`t even ALLOWED into the meetings! All the Repub amendments were left out. His quote about it? "We won". So no, the only wrangling that was done was by Dems, with Dems. Also no one was even allowed to read the thing before it was voted on, remember his promises?

Healthcare to be debated Live on CSPAN.
14 Days for the public to read any bill.

Yeah, those went bye-bye somehow, eh?

5Cats, he did get his own party to agree with him on several key issues. But, during that time, he was also worried about trying to be conciliatory and trying to work with the Republicans to compromise on issues. Crazy concepts, I know, but, that`s how he was working. I mean, think of the Affordable Healthcare Act. How watered down it is from what he (and most Democrats) wanted. That was a nod to Republicans and the cost of the legislation. I guess after getting punched in the face enough, he realized there`s no compromise there. Now, I`m not grading him out as a great president. I`ll give him a low C so far. But he`s head and shoulders above the last guy, and he was *significantly* handicapped coming in after that idiot, so, in fairness, I think those are important caveats. Not disagreeing with you, just saying that there`s lots to look at with his efforts, even in the first two year.

Try THIS Link For a shorter video, with no ads. idk where this hour-long one came from.

@ggolbez: For his first two years, the Senate AND the House were BOTH his party! No explain how a "great President" cannot get his own party to agree with him? That`s a BAD President in my books...

Overreaction. He didn`t say he was he was the 4th best president ever. He said he`d put his legislative and foreign policy accomplishments of his first 2 years against and President short of Johnson, FDR, and Lincoln. Also it`s at 56:10 not short of 55 minute mark. Simmer down junior.

junkaroo, he`s not done the exact opposite. He`s met some promises, he`s fallen short of some. Let`s not be an Obamabot, but let`s also not be a mouthpiece of FOXNews, either. He most assuredly did NOT give himself the power to assassinate American citizens without evidence. Presidents have always had that power, even if its not lawful. The Internet kill switch is a congressional pet item, and, while the executive office seems to support it, it`s no more him, or a DEM or REPUB item than anything else, so, sure, blame him some for that for not coming out against it, but, he sure as hell didn`t demand it. And, you got the NDAA exactly backwards. But, hey, let`s not quibble over facts. He threatened to veto the bill coming up from Congress that gave the power. Now, fact is, and very disappointingly, it looks like he`s caving, but, that`s not him, and he didn`t demand it. So, while I`m not an Obamabot, I do actually read the facts. I wish you would, too.

Uhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
-Did the exact oposite of all campaign promises.
-Given himself the power to assassinate Americans without evidence.
-Demanded an internet kill switch be made for him
-Demanded power to use military on americans in NDAA or he would veto it.
-Stands around silent in the face of constant police brutality on OWS.

The list goes on and on. But I won`t bother because you`re clearly an obamabot.
