reminds me of our WIFI account. reading the fine print, the company reserves the right under their contract to refuse to provide you service but continue to charge you if you call and cuss out their representatives.

and yes, i read that correctly.

Nasty trick, not even vaguely legal, but probably quite effective...

@I-Is-Bored, Some broadband companies offer wifi throughout the city, sort of like a 3G plan for cell phones.

If you took that into court they lose on the spot. They count on the fact that you won`t do that or that you won`t notice the dates. And I also moved to a credit union a long time ago. I strongly urge others to find and join a good credit union.

I too use a credit union; and have done so for the last 8 years. A few weeks ago, I was given a $50 Visa card just for being a loyal customer. Also, I never have to pay ATM fees, no matter where I go in the world!!

I will never use a "bank" again!

that`s still not the name of a company with which you can have an account, and city wide is not a LAN, it`s a small WAN... don`t encourage the 50-59 technologically illiterate

Me and my family have been doing Credit Unions for years, and we love it. Believe me when I say I won`t be doing banks for a long time.

This sounds about right for Wells Fargo. I drating love my credit union. I called recently because I got 4 overdraft fees and I wanted to see if I could set it up so that they would take money out of my savings to cover purchases when I overdraw my checking instead of putting me in the hole and charging me a fee- they not only did so, they reversed ALL of the fees I had been charged.

Just move your money to a small bank. Haven`t they got enough of your money from TARP and the secret 11x TARP? yet you people still keep your money there. convenience isn`t worth it.

stop using big banks. be smart and switch to a credit union. they are small banks that take care of you and you still have nation wide places to do your transactions as most are linked to do shared branch transactions. best of both worlds: they take care of you and protect you, and they are easily accessible.
