"big companies are bad and have proven so"
So get off your comp, stop driving your car, grow your own food, raise your own meat, don`t watch movies, brew your own alcohol. Give me a break, life would be infinitely more difficult without "big companies." So brainwashed it ain`t even funny.

and leeann - Who in the hell wants to make prayer mandatory in schools? I have not heard of this. legal yes, mandatory no.

Just responding to comments, didn`t bother to watch the vid.

children aren`t old enough to know what the hell is going on. big companies are bad and have been proven so. oil is bad and has been proven so. yes it creates gas for cars, but there is and should be better alternatives. one of the many reasons i stopped watching fox.

Tex Richman was not a muppet in the movie. They clearly didn`t watch the movie that they are criticizing. They should definitely be watching Sesame Street to learn how to be polite because they won`t stop interrupting.

"Liberals don`t care. They want to get them at the youngest age."

Substitute "Christians" for "Liberals". Difference? This is straight cherry-picking. I also don`t see how a group that thinks the end (usually being profit) always justifies the means can so consistently play the victim.
I can`t believe that Fox actually allowed another point of view to be heard, though. I thought the whole network was nothing but one-sided conservative propaganda. </sarcasm>
Fox will often get a liberal for contrasting point of view, however the person they choose is usually a dullard so they can easily look like a moron. Left-leaning "news" agencies do the same thing with dullards from the right.

I tought everyone with an IQ inferior to their anal temperature(in Celsius) were considering Fox news as reliable news and Oldfollie confirmed it.

I thought everybody with a 3-digit IQ already knew that Sesame Street was all about indoctrinating kids to be good little progressives.

I can`t believe that Fox actually allowed another point of view to be heard, though. I thought the whole network was nothing but one-sided conservative propaganda. </sarcasm>

i am a pretty conservative guy....but i did not see any liberal slant in that movie. on a side note, the muppet movie was GREAT! I loved it. Being in the theater with my lady friend and about 70 little kids was kinda weird though....
Oil built America and the rest of the world, it has increased our standard of living and gives us the freedom to go where ever we want on a moments notice.
True, although as somone who works as a professional PhD Geophysicist who`s job it is to find oil, I can assure you it`s running out as a finite resource.

The problem is that the far-left cry "Alarmism!" while the far right cries "Complacency!". Like most things in life, the solution lies in between the two extremes. And no prizes for guessing which side of the spectrum FOX News falls on - it`s detrimental to the continuity of our species to have such (some would say radical) right-wing rhetoric which so many people buy into as the actual, factual way the world is.

And yes, I`d be saying the same thing if the most powerful "news" network in the world was a far-left Communist leaning organisation. Like I said, the true solution lies in the centre ground somewhere.

From these posts its pretty obvious that the brainwashing of the last 30 years or even longer has worked well. Proof in the pudding. Suckers.

Amazing, Fox will even defend cartoon super-villainy if their political masters demand it.

CrakrJak, quite right a commodity can not be evil, however the industry that surrounds it can be rotten to the core.
I don not object to oil, I object to oil companies that exert a malign influence in the face of democracy and freedom.
Despite the achievements that oil has allowed, the industry is not heroic, or

How is it possible that so many people can`t see through the agenda-driven bs on FOX???

Male 1,437
Holy Hell. It`s very clear that none of these people even looked at the movie. First, Tex isn`t a muppet - he`s a human. Second, he isn`t evil because he wants oil, he`s Evil because he`s trying to destroy a piece of their history. If oil was discovered below the Alamo, the White House, etc. would Fox still be pro oil?

It`s not "The Muppets" without Jim Henson.

A commodity can`t be "Evil" anymore than a gun can be "Evil". It`s what`s done with it that makes it good or bad.

Oil built America and the rest of the world, it has increased our standard of living and gives us the freedom to go where ever we want on a moments notice.

Grindinblade - "I could just see a conservative sesame character "Don`t share those toys, you earned them!!!!"

Most people don`t mind sharing their toys, but nobody likes someone else forcing you to.

As far as all the FOX bashing, did anyone notice they at least gave both views a platform to present their points. I just don`t see that on other networks very often.

LOL CaptKangaroo that comment made my day.
Also when the woman says sesame street is "sesame and being nice to people", aren`t republicans completely opposed to that? I could just see a conservative sesame character "Don`t share those toys, you earned them!!!! class warfare is making me share my toys with poor kids!"

I worked and lived in Asia for 30+ years, after retiring and moving back to the states in the late 90`s, I saw Fox News- I was at my sister`s house- for the first time. I thought it was some kind of comedy show- a bit like the Onion News that`s on now. When I figured out they were serious, I was just appalled. My sister still teases me by mimicking the dawning realization and disgust on my face- neither of us can recall what the story was.

@bataleon27:

I`m pretty sure they can`t. Not sure if any of their news networks present even slightly unbiased news. My theory is that real news would bore them too much.
