Submitted by: bacon_pie 5 years ago Funny

Where in the hell were the parents who should have stopped this fight a long time into it?

The mother taping is Russian and clearly says "hit him" so the kid hits the cat. What a stupid parent.

The parents of this child are plebians. The cat doesn`t know any better, neither does the baby. Cats can do some serious damage if they get riled up.

Holy poo. A cat can do some serious damage, in a very short time, to a person. The adult filming this is being extremely negligent, letting the cat be aggressive and not protecting/teaching the little kid how to treat the pet. Imo, the adult doesnt know what she`s doing (to me, sounded like a woman taping)either as a parent and as a pet owner. I agree, this video should be pulled.....

As far as the cat is concerned it now has dominance over the kid. Stupid family.

honestly, the kid was probably around 4 years old. how is he supposed to know that the cat was `just playing` because even when a cat is just play biting it still hurts. well, if anything, lets hope both teh cat and the boy learned their lessons to nto go near eachother. person filming shouldnt have let teh fight go on that cat could of seriously effed up that childs face if it wanted to.

This is the first time I have ever felt a video on this site should be pulled.

this should have been called "pussy fight", or "feline vs pussy", or "stupid kid being a pussy, featuring a cat"

"I think it`s good. When I was little we had a cat and this happened on a daily basis. I hit him and he hit me back and my mom never got angry at the cat. It`s called learning. Don`t want scratched up leave the damned cat alone."

I think it`s learning when you don`t have to repeat it on a daily basis...

Sorry but the kid got what he deserved. The cat was trying to play with him, it looks rough but it really isn`t. They know how to show restraint. I do that with my cat all the time, she bites and scratches at me but she never breaks the skin, she`s only playing. The parents should have taken the cat away though if the kid was upset. Kitty did nothing wrong though, it was just bein` a kitty.

It is funny, but the parents should have corrected that kid after slapping the cat. Granted, I doubt he`ll be doing that again any time soon though. Another cat hater born unfortunately

There`s better ways to teach your kids not to hurt animals than letting an animal attack them.

Yo! You whiners out there calling for the beheading of the parents...
CHILLAX dudes! This is how kids learn not to pick on animals. If the parent weren`t in the room it would have unfolded the exact same way.

Besidwes, it`s funny to watch.

This is APPAULING! having just recovered from a nasty infection from a cat bite myself...I think the parent behind the camera should be slapped..not the poor cat! How stupid to put something so ridiculous online! Are you proud to admit you are a total moron? Find a new home for that cat..or maybe the kid

@oldollie

i understand your concern, but in this case the parents are at fault, the kid and the cat are playing, it`s your job as parent to make sure this goes right, as it is your job as a parent to prepare your kid for life, and that means being able to read a situation and knowing it might turn bad if they continue.
the cat is showing a lot of restraint, but it will not accept being hit, neither will the kids friends or wife when he grows up.

the person filming this deserves a good wacking,
it`s obvious the cat is playfull and so is the kid, but playing with cats is a tricky thing (never pull back when they strike becuase the claws they retracted will come out) and they will fall back on flight or fight way faster then a dog add the fact that cats can carry a few diseasses that are no fun to get.

(ps i did find the cat funny though)

The cat actually showed great restraint, it just gave him a warning and got away. If it wanted to, it could have seriously messed him up. When I was kid, a neighborhood boy was abusing a cat, and it turned on him and shredded his face.

As for the cat biting the kid before he hit it, cats play like that. If the cat was seriously biting the kid, there would have been blood all over the place.

"Cat scratch disease is an infection caused by bacteria known as Bartonella henselae. Although about 40% of cats carry the bacteria in their saliva at some point in their lives, cats that carry Bartonella henselae do not themselves show any signs of illness. Most people contract the disease after being scratched or bitten by a cat."

Who stands there and films a baby fighting with a grown cat? The cat obviously wasn`t playing, and the child was crying. That thing could have seriously messed that kid up, I thought it showed amazing restraint.

"hose parents don`t need cats or kids! and i bet they beat the h*** out of the poor cat!
"

Something tells me that no parent was witnessing this, probably older brother or sister was the one filming and doing nothing about it
Everyone here is way too butthurt. It`s a cat and a baby. Neither of them know better.
But the person filming it is neither and they should know better.

I`d put some blame on the kid, but even that`s partly down to the parent(s). You`re supposed to teach your children how to treat animals.

I don`t put any blame on the cat. It`s a cat. If it`s hit, it hits back and/or runs away. That`s as far as anyone can reasonably expect a cat`s mind to go.

OldOllie, your kid deserved it. If your kid hit another kid in the face and that kid then hit him back in defense, your kid NEEDED to be punched in the face. That`s how you learn not to punch people in the face.

"If that were my house, the cat would learn a lesson: don`t attack my kid or you will be sold for medical experiments. "`

If it were my house the kid would have been skinned and the cat given a hug.
or I would have helped that cat beat the crap out of the kid.

For those saying that it was kids fault for hitting the cat...The person filming this is telling the kid to hit the cat.

Man, so many oversensitive people worrying about the kid. He`s clearly over a year old, and that cat was playing with him. Kid learned a lesson: don`t hurt animals, they will attack back if you do.

You can`t expect a baby to simply accept being bitten and clawed by a stupid cat. I wouldn`t hurt the cat, but I would take it to the pound immediately and never look back.

PUN TIME!

That young thug didn`t know he was messin` with Notorious C.A.T. When he swung at kitty, Litter did he know cats fight back. Pawsatively Purrrfect way to teach kids not to be mean to animals. You never know, this video may CATapult to meme status, but Furrtunately the cat wasn`t hurt. I tried but couldn`t think of a segue to using "Clawstraphobia"

Like I always tell children, when they are being mean or too rough with the animal.."If they bite or claw you"..."You wear it"...Now since this little child doesnt know any better, If I were the mother I would have seperated the two and put an end to the mess before it ever started...instead of laugh and video tape this..
