Wow, what a cynical, thoughtless world we live in. Most of you here will never have to go through anything like this at that age. Cracking jokes and being a punk only shows your fear and insecurities.

When you`re dead, you`re dead. Now, stop caring about some dead dude and start caring about those who are alive. Who cares what happens when you die, you won`t be alive to enjoy it!

@jonnywisco

near death and true death are not the same. when you have a near death situation, like the kid says in his other video, your brain still works. the true death is dying and not coming back.

Oh and I had the near death experience thing happen too, with the bright light and everything. But thats how I know for a fact that religion is a crock of shiz. I didnt see jeebuz or some man god at a throne, and no 70 virgins or whatever. One thing you know when your there is that not one aspect of this world really matters, not one. It doesn`t matter if you were good or bad, what religion you were or weren`t, if you did anything productive with your life, your beliefs on anything, etc. We all go to the same place and it is the best thing that will ever happen to you. That part of the video was the only thing I liked about this video, the flash cards are getting played quick.

Yeah, couldn`t give a ****, to be honest with you. Didn`t watch the video, I`m not going to watch the video.

But like someone else said, people die all the time. What makes him so special?

Yeah, nothing.

No poo he was seeing bright lights. Does he not realize that seizures, strokes, and other brain tromatizing events can make people perceiver light and dark spots?

It`s unfortunate that someone so young has died, but the white light and white room where just his brain trying to make whatever sense it could with the lack of functioning organs in his body. he saw kid kudi because kid kudi was his favorite rapper. also because subconsciously he thought he was dying and that song that played touched him deeper than anything else ever has in relation to his condition.

@Gerry

It should make sense. I decline to declare "definitively" one way or the other, while acknowledging a belief in a side. What`s wrong with that?

@Malakamike

What you just said perfectly embodied the stereotypical "regurgitate what someone smarter than me said on the subject, while using played out atheist buzzwords (flying spaghetti monster)." You gave myself, and everyone who suffered through your poorly written post, an Andy asking out Pam moment....it was awesome.

o.O

okay, that make complete sense.

@maddux32 "Maybe his soul was ripped out by superior alien beings with technology far beyond what we can comprehend.... " That`s what you just said, you are by far the biggest dumba** on IAB and should read a book not written by Sarah Palin and not watch the history channel because neither know wtf they are talking about. For those children who don`t know ghost don`t exist and the argument is the same for religion as is to anything supernatural, you can`t prove there isn`t so their might be. Then where do dogs go when they die? how bout cats? whales? flies? why can`t they go? trees and bugs do more for the planet then what we do and the universe, we are insignificant. For all we know God is a Flying Spaghetti Monster(great book makes more sense then any other religion). Aliens exist but that is by far one of the most retarded things I have ever heard......EVER!!!

I never said I wasn`t taking a side. All I said was I wouldn`t be so arrogant as to declare definitively one way or the other. I`m open minded. That is all. Maybe the kid was hallucinating. Maybe he went to heaven. Maybe his soul was ripped out by superior alien beings with technology far beyond what we can comprehend....

Won`t know til I get there. That is all. If I had to make a decision, I`d say that chances are the story doesn`t end. Based on certain documented cases of NDE`s, I`d say there is compelling reasons to explore the matter further and not dismiss it as a mere hallucination.

@ MattPrince - I think I know what maddux is talking about. He`s saying that to declare definitively whether or not there is an afterlife is irresponsible because the question is too big for us. His solution is to not make any decision on that topic at all. To avoid something because it`s "big" or "hard" is not my preferance, but to each his own.

None of you know for certain what awaits beyond death. All you have is our best guess of what it might be. To say definitively that you know that nothing exists beyond this life is irresponsible. For you to subscribe to the theory that this is all there is would be to put faith in our ultra limited perspective of the universe, that we know what the eff we`re talking about. So lets not make this about that.

I feel for the family, but no, there is nothing after this life.
As your brain suffers oxygen deprivation you get tunnel vision and you halucinate. That`s all.

But he lives on in the video, so there`s that.

This always conflicts me, I know there is nothing at all after death- we simply cease to be. personally it is not death itself I fear, but how I get to dead- will it hurt etc. BUT- how do I deny comfort to a child, or to anyone dying- if they need to believe in something afterwards in order to control the fear and sadness then - well, no harm- but in order to believe it whilst dying they must believe it while living.- and there IS harm.....
