Same goes for Black Friday shoppers. If you`re spending money, it`s no problem. If you`re protesting anything, you`re going to jail. Land of the free my ass.

What differences? How about all the rapes and robberies and general criminal activity? Oh. Those differences.

OWS = Camping in the streets for months...still doing so...objective still not complete

Twilight fans = Camp for a few days, see movie, leave....Mission accomplished.

Difference? Twilight fans get the job done?

I`m all for OWS, but the Twilight fans didn`t camp for a month... That, and after they see the movie, they`re gone!

I am sorry, but how thick do you have to be not to see the difference? I have heard there are concerns about the US education system (as there are about the British system, I am not picking on America) and this is a piece of evidence.

Paying customers on private property, camped out overnight.

_____

Non-paying hippies pooping in the streets preventing others from using the public resources they are occupying and interfering with peoples lives... for over a month

Idiots are allowed to gather en masse. Peaceful protestors with a point to make are forbidden. Welcome to America.

Hey! That`s our very own Vancouver Occupation! (They got kicked out, went to the law courts, the province kicked them out PDQ, they took transit to a suburban park where none of the neighbors wanted them, and now they`re looking for s home, so to speak.)

Difference here? It`s pathetic to see people in the +30 year old range bashing the First Amendment using the First Amendment as a back-up and it`s heart-breaking seeing the people in the -30 year old range doing the exact same thing
It might not make sense for some, but that`s only because you need a brain (First Amendment!)

Peacefully using private property with the owner`s consent.

Forcibly blocking and vandalizing a public street.

I hope this makes people actually think for a minute...Why is it there are no police near the Twilight fans? Why is it legal for them and not OWS?

Just going to go and and list a few that might be some causes..Location, Manners, organization, compliance, lack of law braking IE Rape, drugs w/e...just a few possibilities..Also, they are not yelling or getting irate with practically everyone not associated with OWS who happens to wear a suit or think their reason is ridiculous.

PS: I hate Twilight and think this is ridiculous.

First one has a permit/permission. Second one has drugs & rape.
Easy-peasy!

Even the Twilight fans aren`t camping out for months on end.

Second picture is on city-owned land; Vancouver Art Gallery and that`s before it got really bad and crowded.

Difference is? The first one - they`re likely allowed to set up camp (note the fences). Second one? Not allowed.

Two totally different things here. The Twilight f**ktards appear to be camping in the courtyard of a shopping mall or the lobby of a theater. That means they`re on the property of said mall/theater, which is perfectly legal as long as the property owner has no problem with them being there.

One is using their first amendment right to fight for a cause they believe in.

One is waiting to watch a ridiculous movie.

Let me try to explain this.

Twilight campers = spending money = good for property owners.

OWS protesters = not spending money, p!$$ing and $#!++ing on the sidewalk, raping women, blocking traffic, vandalizing businesses, fighting with the police, terrorizing customers, spreading diseases and parasites, and generally making big stinking @$$holes of themselves = NOT good for property owners.

Any questions?
