I`m sure a few of these people have been doing that same stuff since before a fair number of us were born.

When you`ve been doing something for a VERY long time, you tend to get VERY good at it.

Gotta hand it to them, though. They get a job they can do well, they stick with it. They don`t let excessive ambition get the best of them.

If the first guy gave me my soda the way he did in the video... I`d make him go fetch me a soda like a normal personal would. Nice way to release the gas.

    Impressive though.

Actually, the US insources more jobs than it outsources. The net gain to the US is around $25 billion in jobs annually.

    Average annual hours worked.

If you look there you`ll see US worked 1 778 hours on averge Norway near the bottom of the list worked 1 414. Who lacks work ethic now?

I`d say the slums in India is probably a good motivator to work productively. Nobody wants to end up there.
Meanwhile in good ol` USA, we have a million and one ways to be lazy and still get by in life.

@ McGovern1981 here`s a little lesson for you, just so YOU can avoid spouting your mouth off before you understand something...

    ethics
    1.
(used with a singular or plural verb) a system of moral principles: the ethics of a culture.
    2.
the rules of conduct recognized in respect to a particular class of human actions or a particular group, culture, etc.: medical ethics; Christian ethics.
    3.
moral principles, as of an individual: His ethics forbade betrayal of a confidence.
    4.
(usually used with a singular verb) that branch of philosophy dealing with values relating to human conduct, with respect to the rightness and wrongness of certain actions and to the goodness and badness of the motives and ends of such actions.

Just in case you still don`t understand, work ethic has nothing to do with hours worked, so shut your trap, and stop berating people without understanding what the topic is.

So what would you use as a mesure of work ethics then? You can`t therby still making RecycleElf an ass along with yourself. You should take your own advice.

"Work ethic" refers to diligence, initiative, reliability, etc. Not how many hours you work.

Source: Common sense, and if you lack that they have a thing called google.

"Work ethic" refers to diligence, initiative, reliability, etc.

If you lack enough of those you get fired or in the least put in part time which in turn reduces hours worked. At least in a normally operating company.

@McGovern1981: Norway is at the bottom of the list for two very good reasons: Nr. 1. we have strong unions, so we dont have to work like slaves to stay alive and nr. 2: Norwegians are some of the most effective workers in Europe, and get more done pr. hour than most. Frankly i am proud to be on the bottom of that list :-) Who wants to spend their whole life working?

    @ McGovern1981,

Gee... I don`t know McGovern... maybe the quality of work, the amount of work done (which is not always measured in the amount of time it takes to get said work done) You`re arguing the wrong point here, the discussion is about work ETHIC not work AMOUNT... get with the program man.

You almost just said it yourself "not always measured in the amount of time" but it usually is. Getting back to the main point I was talking about if it were about work ethic for outsourcing it wouldn`t have happened because all most everything that`s been outsourced has gone down in quality.

    @Student_Law

Strong unions and effective workers ROFL!!! Oh that`s funny where`d that statistic come from the unions??

Indeed. I have a personal 1 year limit for all crappy jobs. I refuse to be there more than one year, on day 350 I will always put in my two week notice. Forces me to move on with my life instead of becoming a sad old fuc*er that wishes they would have moved on.

"We" outsource because "we" don`t have to pay them anything. Gee, strange since they`re obviously such excellent fast food workers.
