Pah. Nothing compared to nina-pretty-ballerina of 1975.

1m of rainfall in a day in a river catchment in China, setting off a chain reaction of dam collapses resulting in 26,000 drowned and more than 100,000 from the after-effects.

Kiete5, you`re only saying that cos you didn`t experience Katrina and are too young to remember Andrew. A friend of mine went through cyclone Larry (same strength as Katrina). He went back to his business to find a 2x4 had gone through 2 sheets of plywood, the window and embedded itself a foot deep in the breeze block on the other side of the room.
This is old as hell. Bet $5 that this is hurricane Ivan. From what I recall, it wasn`t the most devastating hurricane, but it was by far one of the largest ever recorded. Trust me folks, I know this poo. I live in Florida. Hurricanes are so overrated.
You know, reading is a lost art. It IS old as hell (from 2005) and it`s Typhoon Nabi in the Pacific. I won`t take your $5 though.
