She is 10 so I try not to be critical but it`s hard not to be when the video clearly had money out into it (therefore she isn`t just singing straight throughand she is lip syncing), it is auto tuned and as someone else pointed out, she doesn`t even know what she`s singing.

I remember when I was 10 years old. I decided I had the best voice in the entire world and wanted my very honest father to hear me sing a few songs by judy garland and barbra streisand.

He told me I had no emotion on my face to show I was feeling the words. Of course that was because I hardly understood what I was singing about. He also recorded me and played the tape back for my ears to hear. I of course was shocked and devastated, but what he did wasn`t cruel at all. It put me in my place and off of my high chair. My mother lied to me through out my whole life and I almost embarrassed myself at one point because of it... I was so high off of myself until my father did what he did. Thanks dad!

Anyway hopefully this little chick doesn`t grow up artificial.

A good try but i would be more impressed if it was just her and a mic with no effects on the mic.

Not too shabby. I was more impressed with her poise and confidence than I was with her voice though

Now, I`m not a fan of this song, but I`ve heard it a few times before like everyone else. But there are some points where I have no idea what she is saying. And at other times I do understand it but it just sounds so bad, as if she was trying to eat or something while singing.
For example: @1:47 "keep me thinkin da-we-almo-ha-dih-all"
I guess she has a good voice but annunciation is not her strong suit.

Autotune and singing phonetically is not a good mix.

Meh. Pushy parents. Doesn`t pronounce the lyrics right maybe because she doesn`t understand them, english not her first language maybe.

@sourkraut Well I spent the morning doing guerrilla gardening( we go into a local deprived sh*t hole prettify it for the residents and kids overnight and early morning so they have surprise and something nice. And then confirmed a Supreme court judge to come give a lecture to our university society.

But I can now take my downtime to agree with founded criticism that the song has been overdone and she`s not old enough to put the real emotion into this song. I`d be more impressed if it was toned down and more natural.

Meh. This song is so overdone, and it`s so overdone because it`s easy to sing (and easy to sing in a way that makes it sound quite good). Not to mention that this video is hugely overproduced, it just doesn`t feel genuine at all.

I really hate the singing style where people don`t pronounce certain syllables, it sounds awful and it`s a habit she needs to get out of.

Meh, I`ve never been a fan of children singing and she doesn`t do much to change my mind. Though I`d still rather listen to her than a lot of the musicians that are currently churning out `music` right now...

It is indeed more engineered than an early Kylie song. That doesn`t mean she isn`t both adorable, talented and highly listenable. I`ll be sure to look out for more music by her.

She`s very cute and has a nice voice and if she keeps working, she`ll probably get somewhere someday. She sounds auto-tuned to hell though.

Good luck with that pedophile. Remember, big guys in prison would like young meat like you and I`m sure they would like to "hit it" with you in the shower. :-D

That video is the result of talent...developed from hours and hours of practice. The three sides of the education triangle, as I have come to understand it, are academics, athletics, and music. This family are getting it right....

Did no one think this sounded PRETTY auto tuned? I know so many artists do it now that it`s all you ever hear, but still. Pitch correction? She sounds a bit robotic.

It just really makes me upset that her voice is so doctored. I mean, the girl is talented regardless, but why try and make out like she`s perfect by doing a Britney Spears on her? Sigh.

Let`s hope she keeps on developing her taste in music. She needs to be made aware of Feist and Kate Bush

when a 10 year old sings better than the original singer, it means the singer really should loose weight. oh, and quit singing.
adele sucks.

F*U*C*K all you pseudo-hip haters out there... She`s ten, sounds amazing and is actually doing something cool... What did -you- do with your day apart from beating on a young child with talent?

Holy crap people are critical. She`s 10, and she`s Mexican. She cuts her words because she doesn`t know any English.

So keeping in mind this is a 10 year old kid that speaks no English, I`d say this is pretty good

Atleast it didn`t sound like Rebecca Black auto-tuned. Maybe they could have made an auto-tune version for shizets and giggletz

@CrackrJak Yes you`re right but not that much I think. I ran it twice to be sure. Generally pretty impressive for a 10 year old though. And I agree with @crystalskyz about the negative comments.

She has a great voice, but I dislike the fact that she cuts off her words. Once she learns some diction she`ll be better.

Very impressive for a ten year old. Sounds like she might have a bit of a lisp like a alot of young kids do, but once her voice matures a bit I bet she`ll be amazing.

She doesn`t finish her words. It sounds off and distracts me from her actual voice. So for me it`s hard to judge.

no good. Its not just that she doesn`t speak english and probably doesn`t fully understand the meaning of the words - but this is a song that can`t be sung by a child. She sings it in tune but utterly devoid of any meaningful emotion. She simply doesn`t have any grasp of what she`s singing - she hasn`t had the life experience or the context to put any of herself into the song. Also - that child slur and twang that is inevitably in her voice from being ten years old just renders the song perverse.
Generally awful.

She needs to go away and come back in three or four years.

@CrakrJak: At 3:37 she hits a note (singing the word "deep") that I have a hard time believing she really hit. So, yes, I`m with you and just a little bit skeptical. Still, if 95% of this really is her voice, I`m sure we`ll be seeing more of her in the years ahead.

(BTW, her eyebrow wiggle at the end of the clip is funny!)

I`m impressed by this.

Someone cranked the reverb so that it sounds a little better, and maybe there`s a little bit of autotune, but not a lot.

Certain parts have the drummer not playing the same part as the music... Just sayin`.
