"Don`t taze me Bro"

Pffttt.

It was thus, "Bludgeon me not, brethren!"

Actually people who say "I couldn`t care less" are lying. If they literally couldn`t care less, they would not care to state how much or little they care about whatever, because that implies a want to state their level of caring.

"I could care less about this post"

you obviously could NOT care less about your education, else you might`ve actually learned how to turn a phrase.

I couldn`t care less is blunt and very literal. I could care less on the other hand is sarcastic, and implies your already non-caring attitude could in fact be enhanced further beyond what whoever your saying it to is witnessing. and if you don`t like my interpretation, i could care less (but i wont).

I could care less about this post since it`s completely jumbled. Why couldn`t they just write them down like a normal person.
*Bated breath.
True. I freely admit I`m a bit of a Grammar Nazi, and "baited breath" mildly annoys me. "Abated breath" on the other hand really gets on my tits. And I`ve murdered several people who are still on the missing persons list for "I could care less".

"SET YOUR TEETH ON EDGE??? Who in the hell says that?"

Scraping a nail across the chalkboard sets my teeth on edge....

Seriously, that one is obvious. Besides that, it doesn`t matter if it`s used or not, he was still the first person to use the colloquialism.

More along the lines of, `Really, that scandanavian techno stuff you keep playing in the car just sets my teeth on edge. I know you have Motown and Steve Miller so why must you torment me?`

Car-sharing is a bitch.

Shakespear spelled it `bated`, other than that one slip up it was interesting. And Shakespeare was not a consistent speller. But I don`t think it was comprehensive.
