"I`m really grossed out by this."
So was I...and I can`t figure out why. I just wanted to grab the thing out of her hand and say, "either eat it or throw it away."

If a woman makes those noises and then doesn`t want to have sex with me, then yes, it`s sexual harassment.

Normally, I`m a chauvenist/mysogenist, but this is one area that I`d agree women have it worst. I`ve never seen any female boss do anything inappropriate, nor seen any female subordinate use this to her advantage. Abuses by male bosses are rife and wholly unreported. For example, I had a male boss that sent my female associate to a karaoke night with a potential client because "she was cheaper than a hostess". She was humiliated but wouldn`t have dreamed of taking action. I threatened to walk of the job if he did it again. Never did get any for my efforts though... lol

Clockwork orange.

I actually made an account just to answer that little piece of trivia.

[quote]In one place I worked, sexual harassment was defined as any woman accusing any man of it.

I see you`ve mastered the basic principle of the issue - baseless accusations for the purpose of harming others.

I read the definitions we were given (it was mandatory to do so). I went to the "workshops" everyone had to go to (also mandatory, obviously, since everyone had to go to them). Surprise, surprise, they contained the definition of "sexual harassment" that they were using.

But don`t let reality get in the way of your mud-slinging. You`re intelligent enough to know that it`s the only argument you`ve got and that it`s effective (which is why slander and libel are illegal - if they weren`t effective there would be no need to outlaw them).

In one place I worked, sexual harassment was defined as any woman accusing any man of it. It was explicitly stated that it did not matter at all what the man did or didn`t do or say - he was guilty regardless and had no opportunity to defend himself.

They genuinely didn`t see anything ethically wrong with that policy, nor did they see it as sexist, nor was it illegal.

Sexual harassment as a socio-political issue is a superb tool for creating a hostile working environment for men. It`s so well suited to doing so that I conclude that was its intended purpose all along.

No. Her behavior toward the men in the office was not discriminatory nor hostile in any way, and it did not interfere with their ability to do their jobs. It is not sexual harassment, no more so than me eating a fish taco at work. Any more questions?

There is a reason she has her own office and the others are in cubicles, think it through.

Sexual harassment is the absolute worst thing to come out of the legal system in a long time. It ruins lives over insinuation. I know a handful of people who can not get jobs now because women "felt" they were being harassed in the work place over a poor choice of words.

There is a place for it, but it is SO overused now it isn`t even funny.
