@topgun966 Obama isn`t bringing them home. Iraq told them they are no longer welcome to stay.

@OldOllie, the U.S had done so multiple times in the past. Vietnam is one popular example, but have you ever wonder why many S.American countries hate us with such passion?

Well, if we had attacked China and killed 3000 innocent civilians, we`d deserve to be occupied by them.

Paul is a Loon.

Strip away all the convenient libertarian window dressing and you discover he`s no different than your average Xian Reconstruction extremist. (And before I hear any bellyaching, THAT is his record duly cataloged and annotated in the Library of Congress).

And he always, always, attracts the most zealous, fanatical and conspiratorial elements to his cause. Without fail.

While it`s unfortunate we have to put up with doubters like Paul at least he has sensible foreign and domestic policiese. At this very moment he is the type of man we need as President.

As opposed to George Bush?

Who didn`t believe in evolution, and started a war under false pretenses?

I got a funny feeling that Americans would squash a military base in their own land ridiculously fast. Also, I thought you needed permission to setup a military base in another country outside of war. So this is lousy propaganda at best, well, as far as I`m concerned.

Maybe if the "offended citizens" didnt fly planes into large international buildings then lare superpowers might not want or need to occupy their country... just a thought

@cobrakiller

you say Obama "seems strong willed on keeping that particular promise."

Then why isn`t he bringing home ALL American troops!? whey the hell are we in Afghanistan?!?! If he is pulling troops out of Iraq why are they just gearing up to go into another country?

The current president is not making good on any promise, he is simply shuffling the cards in the deck and playing the same game, as any politician will do.

Ron Paul is not a Politician, he is a Statesman
Statesman Definition:
A male political leader regarded as a disinterested promoter of the public good

Ron Paul cares or the public well being, and is willing to be open and honest with you. any other (of a different kind) politician I have seen out there just flat out lies.
Ron Paul is a doctor who doesn`t believe in evolution

Relevance?
In my infallible opinion, if you don`t believe in evolution, you`re a moron.

... and if you`re a moron, you shouldn`t be president of the United States. ... or the president of any country for that matter. ... or have any real power over anything.

Does that clear things up?

"But wait lazy, aren`t you being a bit harsh?" I hear you ask. Well no, not believing in facts is dangerous. Next thing you won`t be believing in calculus, or electromagnetism, or CPU overclocking because those things are heresy for some reason.

Imagine that Russian paratroopers for some reason decided to kill everyone in your high school, but one person from each social clique survived and banded together in the mountains to fight back.

I like the fact they had to hire some guy to sound scarier, because let`s face it, Paul is about as terrifying as an Ozian munchkin.

First of all, the chinese wouldn`t last in texas because the mexicans would drive them out!

Second, of course the conquered don`t like the conquerers. Tough turds to them. I doubt the japanese or germans liked the american presance after the war but that`s just too bad. We`ll be out of Iraq soon and they can go back to kiling each other for all I care.

Third, Obama {of whom I am not a fan} always said he`d have Iraq troops home by end of 2011. He`s on schedule so what`s the problem?

IMAGINE if Gerry had a brain.

right.

That was pretty powerful, and I agree, although I do see one small flaw in the analogy. The US occupies underdeveloped countries, so if the US itself was to be occupied, it would have to be by some superdeveloped country which doesn`t exist. Sweden`s army is too small.

And then of course there is:
Ron Paul is a doctor who doesn`t believe in evolution. Nuff said.
This. Enough said indeed.
