That`s the right way to treat a crap vacuum like Oreck. HEY KIDS! Once you grow up do yourself a massive favor and buy an expensive vacuum. Totally worth the cost.

I think a normal extinguisher would cost less and be safer than buying a vaccum cleaner to put out a fire.

That only worked because he sucked up all the fuel. Not exactly practical on something like a house fire, can`t exactly hoover up the entire house...

What the hell else could`ve happened? The vaccuum sucked in excess gasoline, which caused the bag to catch fire, but gasoline evaporates easily, especially when burning, so the little fire there was, was easily put out when air flow to the gas was accelerated.... Really dumb.

@EgalM "water from a hose" oh, dear god, you do realise (petrol/deisel) floats?, you would only spread the fire. oil based fires (rid of oxygen and cover with fire blanket) electrical fires (trip the elctricity and use Co2 extinguishers) and casual fires use an ordinary extinguisher.. i weep for the generations to come

large gas fires- dirt, small gas fires- let it burn itself out, all other fires- stomp out with tennis shoe/blow out.

why make it more complicated and expensive then it needs to be
