"All that effort... why?"

Because most rear engine trikes are made from Volkswagons. The Fiero has a more powerful engine.

There`s a dude here with a motorcycle front attached to the back of an old chevy stingray. It`s actually pretty sweet.

I like the stealth-littering holes on the floor. Wish my car had those.

For the "wonder how it runs" folks: the Fiero was rear engine/rear wheel drive to begin with.

""The point of a bike is fuel economy and mobility. "

the point of a bike is the feeling of driving in the open wind. It never had anything to do with fuel economy or mobility."

Whatever the point of a bike is irrelevant to this pic, as the point of that thing is "why the drat not?"

This thing doesn`t get through traffic and is not easier to park nor good on fuel.

But still kinda awesome.

"I don`t see why it couldn`t be. It`s basically just a motorcycle with 3 wheels. Only difference is the back has a car body. If anything it seems slightly MORE safe an a motorcycle."

You`ve never ridden a trike, have you?
All the danger of a motorbike with none of the handling.
I`ll stick with my bikes thanks, don`t need training wheels.

I have a friend that did this with an old VW Bug. It was awesome until he wrapped it around a telephone pole.
