"That`s not what they meant by putting your car on air bags, Dave."

simple answer: when you test the quality of those air beds and how much weight they can hold... enough to hold those cars up.. good quality i would say...

daredevils!!!! Practicing daredevils. Jumping the cars on bikes and if they mess up they dont hurt themselves, they just hit the mattress

It`s demonstrating the power of air pressure. The air matresses, though powered by nothing more than a small fan, can generate enough pressure to lift a vehicle. Anyone ever watch "The Secret Life of Machines"? They do the same thing in their vaccuum episode.

I win internets!

One of these would come in handy if you live in a van down by the river.

It is an auto dealership in some red neck, poor, probably southern hick town.

Trendy dealerships have been using fake rugged terrain to display 4 wheel drive vehicles at various angles - to sell `em to people whose most exciting trip will be driving to Walmart on cough meds.

Wow, xtkm1x, it`s impressive that you can determine someone`s interests and net worth by a single image of that person`s back.

They are testing to see how many vans they can lift at once using integrated pump air mattresses before that outlet strip catches fire.

Isn`t it obvious?

maxxim, that idea would be feasible, but this guy doesn`t look like the type to be interested in science, or the type to be rich and be able to afford all those air mattresses (spelling on matresses? idk.)

He used a series of inflatable mattresses to lift the cars up like that (by inflating the previously flat mattresses).

@NottaSpy-- The "flag" on his shirt is not a flag. It`s a *representation* of the flag. What "The flag should never be used as wearing apparel..." means is that you can`t take an ACTUAL flag down off a pole, cut it up, and turn it into a jacket.

NottaSpy, a picture of a flag isn`t a flag itself, even if said picture is on an article of clothing.

@nottaspy, hes not wearing a flag, hes wearing a shirt with an image of a flag.
Why NottaSpy? He didn`t break the flag code.
Yes he did. Wearing the flag as clothing is disrespecting the flag.

United States Code: Title 4, Section 8d. Respect for Flag.

The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free. Bunting of blue, white, and red, always arranged with the blue above, the white in the middle, and the red below, should be used for covering a speaker’s desk, draping the front of the platform, and for decoration in general.

they lifted the cars using air mattresses.. not to show you how strong mattress is but to show you how you don`t need alot of air pressure to lift alot of weight. just alot of surface area.. 100 points to me

Looks like he is trying to flip the cars over, as a display of air pressure over an area having tremendous force.
Basically a science class experiment.

Demonstrating the strength of air mattresses by driving cars onto them? important factor in decision making process for fat ass americans.

Looks like they are shooting an infomercial. Proving that the air mattresses can lift up cars as they are inflated!
