Junkies die everyday- big deal. Whether a person chooses to kill themselves with pizza or pills, it`s a choice. If one is too self-deluded to understand the choices being made, that`s a choice as well.

@Gerry1of1: It was weeks before his death. If he was supplied more prescription after the Dr has heard this message, then he has a part in it.

Also I am not saying he killed MJ, it is just if he has a history of suppling people with more then the nessery prescriptions, then it should go on his record. People pay him alot of money to keep them safe, he should not fail in his (guessing) $300,000 a year private postion due to negligence.

That recording was one MJ left on the Dr`s. voice mail. That indicates the Doctor wasn`t present when he self-doped himself so... how does this show any guilt on the doctor`s part?

I don`t get it.

I find it both irritating and belittling that inquests like this wouldn`t be held for the common day man, but when a "star" dies every possible person who has had contact with them become a possible suspect, and somebody must be blamed for the death. Get over it, I loved MJ but he was addicted to pharmaceutical drugs, which would kill him one way or another.

@ CrakrJak ~ You have to stop agreeing with me.
It`s ruining my street credability to have a WASP on my side.

$100 says the doctor gets away with it, then sues for millions. And wins.

Maybe the doctor is partially at fault,
but the fault is mostly his family for not forcing him to go through drug rehab.

I`m guessing MJ`s death was about debt. He was not up to the tour and a lot of people would have been out of pocket. He was a mess and was worth more dead, than life. But not quite murder, everyone just turned a blind eye and watched the hand play out. So what`s that, `reckless endangerment`?

MJ admitted to being an addict before. Addicts with drug seeking behavior know which doctors to seek to get them.

As for the trial, let the jury decide, right now it`s all media driven speculation.

I`m on the fence on this one. Who knows what MJ did when the doctor wasn`t looking. On the other hand, if I remember correctly, the doctor has a reputation for shady prescriptions out of his clinic in Houston. I`ll be bold and trust in the fairness of the trial court.

Just saying Gerry, if you were his doctor and he left you a message sounding like that, think you would continue or even up his dosages?

Never thought it before but... MJ was murdered =O

IF.... IF the prosecution can prove what they claim in the opening arguement, then it`s undoubtedly neglegent manslaughter. If not, MJ was sneaking drugs on the side so it`s not the Docs fault.

We shall see. I`m going with innocent until proven guilty.

@Gerry1of1: But a Dr. should know when they are abusing the prescription, then refuse them and refer them to where they can get help.

And that is like giving a depressed person a gun and saying "A depressed person would never kill himself on his own."

Of course it must be Dr. Murry`s fault.
A world famous celebrety would never abuse medication or prescription drugs on his own.
