Yea; deff didn`t need background music. (no matter how awesome the music is)

I don`t have enough video on this situation to make a verdict... I would guess that the protesters started the nonsense, which is why the police started to get aggressive.
I don`t see why that many people needed to be arrested though, but I didn`t see what they did either.
also I don`t get why they needed that number of police in the first place. It seemed like it might have been a peaceful protest until the beginning of the video.
    I just don`t know enough

I find it ironic that they ask why are you supporting the criminals while just about everything they used to make this protest, including the video cameras, clothing, materials for the signs, and even the internet / media sites they post it on are provided by those "criminals".

I read their website, and I think they are actually doing something pretty good here. The problem is that the video is a horrible representation of the cause. Maybe it`s good to catch peoples` attention.

The basic premise is pretty honorable: People occupying Wall St in mass. It seems like a pretty peaceful group, and I respect this form of protest.

The music has to go, though. That was a horrible idea.

Dirty hippies who have no money, pissed at people who have it. Go make something of yourself, become powerful, and then incite change. Protests are for the weak-minded, weak-willed. They create more division than anything else.

Right, because Tea Partiers have NEVER behaved like this; therefore, it would be newsworthy if they did.

If they were smart Libyans, they`d plant some snipers under a false flag operation and get NATO to help them effect regime change.*

*but alas, this is the USA and they run NATO like the a heavy pimp runs his hos, so there will be no regime change. Not until China comes to global dominance, anyway.

@bentley22 You need to understand that not everyone has the required conditions to be a millionaire. In this country, you are born in caste, and you are bound to stay in your caste forever -- the way the economy runs imply that, if you just open your eyes and look carefully enough. Besides, protest is one of the few way the massive but silenced masses can broadcast their opinion.

Also, I`m disappointed with how Americans received the protest in the comments. This protest is not going to change anything, and there may be some morons in the crowd, sure; but you are all so busy comparing them to the Tea Party that you forget to consider the message they are trying to convey: that you are controlled by the media, that this country is run by an elite few and that democracy is a joke. They may be stupid, but at least they realized the fundamental problems with the "American democracy", and they dare to say it out loud. I may not associate myself with them, but I at least admire their attempt.

I would also want to point out that the reason why no mainstream media has covered this protest so far is not because they make the left stupid -- rather, it is because they (the protesters) are so close to radical socialists that even the slightest coverage of them may infuse further chaos into this country. Due to careful brainwashing, the majority of Americans do not receive the word "socialism" and "communism" too well, but this protest has shown that it is about to change. No corporate-run media outlet would want to admit that growing radical part of the country; no, socialists are few, weak and abominable (which is totally false).

@MCMXCIII- The reason it`s not getting coverage is because every mainstream media corporation is financially tied to Wall Street. The protesters are not necessarily radical socialists at all. Most of them simply want a representative Democracy where their interests are given fair representation. Instead we have a sham representative democracy where the government ignores the interests of the people in favor of supporting the interests of the wealthiest 1%, and then pretends that they`re helping everyone by supporting the "job creators."

have you seen the job market? we are no longer an economy that buys and sells houses to each other, but one that puts one another in jail. make money money make money money.
