"I`ve had users stick cd`s in there, paper, just about anything flat they can find..
Apple users are dumb drats anyway :o)"

Are you retarded? What do you mean you have had users stick stuff in there? This thing does not actually exist.

wonder how difficult this would really be to implement
I thought it was a scanner at first; as a printer kinda silly, but i think a scanner would be doable (no ink to replace)

@DeadDisco: Sorry, I guess you`ll have to send it to Apple if you wanna do that.

LOL all these people think that a printer built into a monitor is a possibility. No one would even design that because of the obvious issues. A scanner that feeds down through the back might be nice though. Anyhow this is a joke about the ventilation on these monitors nothing more get over it already.

I agree with Kakabaka, not user friendly >> if it eats the paper that just sucks for you.

So, when your $50 printer breaks down, you have to replace a $1300 all-in-one computer?

A tray for the paper can be developed, that`s not the problem. The real problem comes when your monitor starts walking because of the printhead moving back and forth for each line as well as the monitor being topheavy. I did like the "literal photo of the day" comment. :)

"@ hatface - omg, I stand corrected. It is a printer! The concept is just so stupid, that I just assumed it was a scanner. Seriously, that is the dumbest idea I have seen in a long time."

It`s so stupid you assumed it was scanner? What does that even mean?

At first I thought, "This is actually a useful idea by Apple," until someone pointed out having to load each paper by hand. Suddenly I realize how incredibly inconvenient this actually is.

I`m typing this ironically on my MacBook that I was required to get for college. I`m jealous of all my friends with Dell and Alienware.

@ simpletools - How is this a scanner? Blank goes in, printed one comes out. There is even a picture of him pressing "P" on the keyboard!

@ hatface - It`s a scanner. Not a printer. And why would anyone buy that when you can get a printer that doubles as a scanner?

@hatface,

You`re stuck with that printer aren`t you? What if you want a better one? You have to fork out extra on top of the extra premium that Apple slapped on to their product for the monitor printer.

LOL, PRINTSCREEN! AMIRITE?

Uhh... I can`t believe I`m the first person to call fake on this.

And this is assuming that this is a printer, not a scanner. Since they feed in a blank piece of paper and a lettered one comes out. A scanner would probably be more handy imo.

I really don`t see the point in this... There is no (at least obvious) way to replace the ink, and you would have to feed every sheet in one at the time manually. Nice going apple....

Not usually an Apple fan, but this does look really awesome. Probably not too handy for printing large amounts of pages though.

Bringing back the 50`s idea of fusing household objects and hoping they sell as a "New" idea, Apple?
haha

No thanks, man. This scanner is way too expensive to punch repeatedly as I do my current fax/scanner.

So basically if anything in that thing breaks, you either have to spend a fortune fixing it or replace the whole thing. F*&% you Apple.

"...yet offering ZERO customisability at the same time."

How the hell do you normally customise a printer?

If there`s anything worse than someone who complains about computers, its someone who complains about bloody printers.

Damn Apple and their desire to put everything together into a cutesy package to appeal to the visually impressable and yet offering ZERO customisability at the same time.

This would be cool if you don`t need to trash your monitor(aka computer cause we are talking about Apple) when ink is ended. In any case i call it fake.
