@Subushie
a mouse pad is whatever size you happened to buy, the type of computer you`re using doesn`t matter

Personally I hate laptops (even though I am forced to be on one right now.) they look retarded, and I hate these little mouse pads.

Possibly this is a one time thing. In my area the power was out for two days, and I needed to finish a research paper. If I had not backed it up to a flash drive I might have had to move my computer to a place that had power.

Nice, let`s make fun of the guy that can`t afford a laptop, new monitor, electricity, internet access, or whatever thing caused him to end up there. Probably out of work and desperate. Thanks for reminding me that schadenfreude is not on the internet.

That`s awesome, but another issue is that laptops are designed to be impact resistant. You can break a desktop just by knocking it over on it`s side.

"He should probably be worrying about that overheating in that bag. "

He`s probably not doing anything to intensive on it, so it`s probably fine. But think about all the extra calories he`s burning carrying around a 20lb computer everywhere!

I use a desktop computer, I probably will get a
laptop soon, but my guess is that I`ll be using
it only for presentations for my class and stuff

Desktops are better, obviously, unless you are in the habit of moving your computer around and/or need it with you when you`re out.

Libraries sometimes have networks with shared folders. If not, they should.

What?
That`s what he uses to browse with. If nothing else I think its pretty cool to use what you have. Tho having it in a backpack would be even better. One could easily be made.
