I suppose an ambush wedding by the groom is one way to avoid a "bridzilla". Bravo!

Whilst i am not a fan of marriage, this is awsome.
really well done, nice and simple, but full of love.

@Davymid I hope when that day comes it`ll be a person who can take care of her as good as you do, and let you feel that, she`s going to be alright.

Not gonna lie, I`m a grown man with a beard and a beer-belly, and I blubbed like a bitch. Maybe because I have a 5-year old daughter who I love more than 1000 characters can tell, and I`m going to have to go through this someday. And yes, I`m going to be a f*cking mess.

They`re obviously simple people I mean he must`ve asked her what dress she wanted.
But if someone pulled that on me I`d be like "BITCH GIMME ANOTHER DAY I AIN`T READY!"

He did a great job. Other than the venue and dress, I wouldn`t change any of it. Really nice, understated wedding. No big bouquets, ridiculous dress or impersonal ceremony. Good luck, you two!

The most fake wedding I have ever seen. If somebody did that for me, and actually pulled it off, perfectly, I would be a MESS! Blubbering doesn`t cover it. They BARELY shed a tear, like really had to squeeze them out, and everybody else there is the same. Completely fabricated.

wonderful, wonderful! i hope they stay happily together forever. and yes, even at my advanced age, i`m sitting here crying like a lovestruck teenager.

but the OCD part of me can`t help but thinking about the marriage license, which has to be signed by both....

If he was controlling it would all be about him not her he stated that he took a year asking her questions about her perfect wedding and she was the one who organised it *her way* she just wasn`t aware she was doing that at the time .
I think this was a beautiful and amazing gesture and for a change it wasn`t the bride that had to arrange everything , Imho he showed exactly how much he loved her and deserved her by surprising her with the exact wedding she wanted , amazing video *wipes away tear*.

You can look at it this way;He seemed thoughtful and considerate of her wishes and she seemed genuinely happy.
OR!
He`s very good at lying to her and she`ll spend her married life discovering his deceptions.
glass half full or glass half empty.Either way, they saved a buttload of money on the ceremony-which can be applied as a down payment on a house or whatever.

Someday if I ever get married, I don`t want to have to open a garage door to walk down the aisle. It doesn`t really scream `class`, if you catch my drift.

I agree with Klamz, It was the very first thing I thought of, most women love the planning part of their wedding, being able to pick out everything and make it personal, theirs.

As a guy, I have to say I find this incredibly stupid as well as selfish.

She`s going to look back on this day and barely remember it, it will mean little to nothing to her and she will eventually feel robbed of her wedding as bittles put it.

Most women spend months if not years planning after they know they`re getting married, she didn`t plan a thing. One of the reasons it`s so memorable is because of the planning, ending in a huge piece of perfection for her that she will never forget, that she`s been thinking about her whole life. With something like this, it`s like going to a party or a reunion.

Instead of being this huge moment in her life and the build up of stress and anxiety and love, it`s the equivalent of going to the nearest court house and doing it their.

I feel bad for her.

and I think it was clear that the bride wasn`t exactly a bridezilla, considering they had the las vegas thing "planned", so obviously the groom knew his fiancee wouldn`t feel "robbed" of planning the wedding. I`d feel relieved, but I have zero interest in planning a wedding.

Most women I know have been planning their wedding since they were six years old. Seriously. I know six year old girls who have already decided who their bridesmaids and maid of honor are going to be.

I`d be super happy he did this and wanted to marry me so much, but I`d be upset that I was robbed of planning my own wedding.

They HAD planned on getting married in Vegas, so the idea of a wedding itself was not a shocker. Nobody was tricked into marriage.

That was really nice to him...but I do find the black shirt/white tie combo incredibly ugly...that doesn`t detract from the awesomeness of what he did though!

"
After the initial shock wears off, there will be tons and tons of bitching from the bride who didn`t get to plan her own wedding."

You should watch the video again, you know, with your volume on.

"If I were her, I`d be very displeased. Don`t trick me into marriage, sir."

I hope your kidding. If not, I`m sorry you`ve never been in a long term relationship and/or you`re not capable of reading your significant other.

Lol to anyone who is like "OMG why would he do this." "It`s trickery!" etc...

I think after dating for that long, he knows her well enough to know that it`s ok to do. It`s not like he came up with the idea whilst drunk with buddies.
