I always find it funny when people who are unfamiliar with snow experience it... So much joy... Such novelty...

Come up here to Wisconsin and shovel my walk in a month or so if you love it so much. :P

Wellington, NZ. Lived there for a while. Its very rare for snow to fall there, hence the delight on peoples faces. It hadnt snowed that "heavily" in Wellington for like, 30 years or something.

It was so beautiful, It snow occasionally in Wellington but I`ve never seen it settle. I did feel sorry for those in Christchurch though, putting up with the cold and the aftermath of the earthquake =/.

it`s joyous if it`s never happened to you before and likely might never again...unfortunatly, i live too far north for this, so all i got was f ucking cold.

Nice video. Live in Wellington in New Zealand. It was very rare weather event where cold artic air reached the country and caused snow fall all over the place. Last time it snowed properly would`ve been at least 10 years ago, and in nowhere near the quantities to did this time.

What the video misses is the cries of joy you could hear all over the place from people who have never been snowed on. Maybe you had to be there but it was really quite amazing. I can`t remember a time when so many people were universally happy about the same thing.

I picture people going to cuba to avoid snow season these people are all stoked about it snowing wtf man? I bet if the snow lasted a few months they might not be so joyous about it the next time it happened.

That`s not even real snow. Looks like sleet. It`s barely building up at all. Real pretty snow is the very fluffy big flake kind that drifts slowly down and sticks to every tiny branch on the trees.
I`m still dreading it, such a goddamn mess.

For everyone saying this is proof global warming doesn`t exist: They started calling it climate change because of dumb asses like you. It`s change in the climate causing more extreme weather in all ways, including snowing in August. (Also, in the Southern Hemisphere August is in Spring/Late Winter.)

madest: Snow in August is proof of `Global Warming` ? You`ve got to be incredibly dense, and I don`t mean that as mass per unit volume.

It`s called "climate change" and one of the effects is extreme weather phenomenon. This is proof of it.
