Just look at how fat the tea partier is... could easily be hiding explosives under his shirt. It`s no wonder everyone mistake the guy for a terrorist.

You`re out of line mister. STFU and GTFO.

madest-" There`s no more pre-existing condition denials"

In this, like most else, you are incorrect.

The `Pre-existing Condition` portion of Obamacare, for anyone over the age of 19, will not go into effect until 2014. Only those below the age of 19 can not be denied access to their parent`s health plan based on a pre-existing condition.

It`d be nice (and a pleasent change) if you actually knew of which you speak.

madest-"hypocrite"

Ignorant.

That`s not a viable option and would not be any better than what I have now. Also, No republican plan I`ve seen would toss existing medicare patients off medicare, so you`ve built a straw man there.

CrakrJak, I agree with you, but not in this situation. They`re just pissed because Biden called them "extremists" which they are. Complaining to Obama isnt going to do anything. Its like watching drating children bickering.

diylobotomy: The president, and I don`t mean just Obama, lives in a bubble. Presidential `handlers` carefully plan and arrange where he goes, who he sees, and what he does. That`s the way it has been since JFK died because the secret service is pledged to protect him at all times.

Obama, and every other president, does need to hear what the people think and that includes dissenting opinions outside the press pool.

Unfortunately, The people with the best access and most influence, in politics, are also those with the most money. So please don`t come here complaining about some average people that got to ask Obama a few questions, it`s a rare enough occasion as it is.

madest: I had insurance, when I was working, and paid into the system. That doesn`t mean my political beliefs should change just because my circumstances have. I don`t complain about Social Security benefits, mine or otherwise.

What I am complaining about is the ransacking of that system to benefit the greedy bankers that contributed to Obama`s presidential campaign. The same greedy bankers that took enormous commissions on insanely risky loans, bundled them up, and sold them like stocks on the market to make even more money. After that Obama paid back his insurance buddies by demanding in Obamacare that everyone buy insurance, even if they and their employers can`t afford it. Btw, that last part was found unconstitutional recently, Here.

diylobotomy: The 1st amendment gives us the right to `argue with the president`. The president is not a king, presidents have taken criticism from the very beginning with our 1st president George Washington.

If Obama can`t handle a little constructive criticism then he shouldn`t be president at all.

madest: It`s Obama`s massive spending that has got us into this, the unfunded liability of Obamacare, the wasteful way the TARP funds were handed out, and the stimulus package that didn`t stimulate a damn thing except a thrill up Chris Matthew`s leg.
Your on the verge of being forced to take care of yourself for a change.
I`ve been working since age 12, started out mowing lawns, became disabled 4 years ago, would rather be able to work but the doctors say I can`t. I put in my time, paid into my social security and don`t feel guilty about taking the small amount that`s given.

Obama threatened to not pay Social Security or Veterans their benefits just last month which just how little he really cares for the downtrodden. Wake up madest, your taxes have went to enrich criminal bankers and Obama`s cronies, not me.

That`s right @randomnxp: With the Obama stimulus: 10% unemployed. Without it? 8%
THEREFOR Obama saved 2% unemployment! Democrat math!

@HeadiesRush: No, actually, it has NOT been Republican filibustering that caused anything! Since the Democrats had a filibuster-proof House and Senate until the mid-term election. The Republicans have filibustered exactly ZERO bills.

Oh and those busses the Secret Service bought?

Made In CANADA!
LOLZ! Y`all are welcome! (Actually it`s nice they honoured the Free Trade Agreement, I just think it`s funny for some reason)

The stimulus did not create those jobs. The stimulus prevented more jobs from being created.

Note that when more people come into the work force the economy expands due to that increase, so unemployment should not increase as a percentage. So when Obama said that without a stimulus unemployment might hit 9% he was not being unrealistic.

Of course if we take Obama`s word for likely unemployment, the stimulus appears to have destroyed a large number of jobs. That, too, is realistic.

See, no unnecessary criticism of Obama. I take his word. I just remember it better than his groupies do.

They interrupted the President because he was not answering them. He was changing the subject. They managed to pull him back, and he simply lied. He straight said something that was not true, according to three Democrat politicians who witnessed the event they are discussing.

Obama`s listening tour: he talks, you listen.

HeadiesRush

Since what you quote is entirely true, I hope she does believe it!

Face it, Obama is nothing like any characterisation of him from either his party or from the news media during his election campaign. Specifically in this instance he is utterly partisan. Remember "I won"? Remember his promise to put everything on C-SPAN? Remember him threatening opponents with IRS audits? Remember his appointment of communists without congressional oversight? Remember his Justice Department`s dropping of charges against his violent supporters, their racist policy in application of voting law and their refusal to enforce other voting laws, where that refusal helps Democrats vote multiple times and hinders primarily republican voting military?

Obama is a crooked partisan. He has never been conciliatory.

She says, "I think that president Obama and his team also were the first ones to make things so political, from the very beginning. Even after they won, they made everything about partisanship."

Does she actually believe that poo spewing from her mouth?

Has it not been the Republicans filibustering every god forsaken bill that congress has tried to pass since Obama got elected?

Either she`s talking complete nonsense or I need to see a doctor.

WOW @madest, that`s a new low, even for you! Seriously, resign your Mod status, you are an embarrasment to IAB and need some BAN-time to cool off.

@Baalthy: See? 3.7 > 4.8! Democrat math! You`re right, I do not understand it. And those 3.7 "created OR saved" jobs saved? How the drat does one come up with that stat? One pulls it out of one`s arse of course. Using one`s LEFT hand of course!

Thanks @Cajun for knowing right from wrong, eh?

@markust123 is telling the truth, the Challenger gets the other bus. 2.2 million for them isn`t that expensive, compared to Air Force One`s massive pricetag, it DOES save money!

I didn`t vote for him becuase of his (very little) past record, his stance on issues and the fact I though he` d make a horrible president (guess what, I was right).

Madest-"You`re republican"

I`ve voted Republican, Democrat and Independent. I vote for the PERSON, not the party.

Madest-"you`re racist."

Ah, the Race Card. You finally admit defeat in the only way you know how. Whipping out the old `Race Card`.

Which autocompany did NOT take any stimulus money? Ford.
Which autocompany had the best selling auto for 2010? Ford.
Which autocompany had TWO in the top ten sellers for 2010? Ford.
Which autocompany posted the highest profit for 2010? Ford.

(btw, the only thing the bailout `saved` was the Union pensions.)

Madest="The president was busy running the country."

That`s just it. He NOT. He`s too busy: Playing golf, going on vacation, fundraising and apologizing for America.

Madest-"The Cabridge police did act stupidly."

Nope, that acted appropriately for police responding to a reported break-in, finding a jimmied lock and facing and a beligeren (dare I say, `racist`) individual refusing to present proof that he was in his own residence.

Madest-"The stimulus created more jobs than Bush Created in 8 years."

Ah, yes. The old `Created or Saved` bullcrap. Look I just `saved` 5 billion jobs! (not to mention your facts are wrong. The `official` numbers for the stimulus are between 1.3-3.3 millions jobs created, whereas Bush is credited with 4.8 million created).

The antagonistic girl showed up in a woman costume and brought her doughy man-child to shout down the president of the United States. Nothing terrorist about being obnoxious and interrupting a person who tries to answer your question. Luckily, they read their Freedom Works Tea Party instruction guide: When the Democrat/Liberal/Commie/Black Kenyan/Maoist/Atheist/Muslim starts to respond, immediately shout another question, comment or slogan, change the topic and repeat until no one can communicate at all! Step 3: Profit!

Another Joe the Plumber moment?

When asked whether Obama`s proposed $250,000 tax threshold would affect him, Joe the Plumber replied: "Not right now at presently, but (...) he`s going to do that now for people who make $250,000 a year. When`s he going to decide that $100,000 is too much? (...) You`re on a slippery slope here. You vote on somebody who decides that $250,000 and you`re rich? And $100,000 and you`re rich? (...) Where does it end?"

Has the bracket changed?

Number of people who enter the workforce each month btw, is ~200K, so a rate slower than that doesn`t offset it.

Also, 5 Cats, are you suggesting tax breaks for the wealthy (extended and amplified) and spending cuts don`t work?
0
Reply
Male 4,547
Because job creation was still slower than the number of people coming into the workforce. There were between 1.3 million and 3.7 million jobs created.

Democrat math goes beyond addition, that`s why you don`t understand, it`s also why you shouldn`t be running an economy.

You seriously don`t think `The One` is not capable of telling the Secret Service, "Buy me a BIG BUS!"?

madest-"put aside the hatred for the guy...you might actually get mad at real issues"

Ya ever thought it was the REAL ISSUES that cause people to hate him? (nah, MUST be `racism` right?).

REAL ISSUES such as:
-Annual Budget Deficit of 9.5%,
-$1.8TRILLION annual increase in federal debt,
-High unemployment (ya know, the one that `wouldn`t get above 8%),
-`Stimulus` that was nothing more than payback to unions and banks.
-`Corpse`man, 57 states, `they acted stupidly`..

American politics is so base and puerile, filled with half-truths and misinformation. Most Americans aren`t smart enough to understand the nuanced components of political discourse and follow slogans, or worse, instinct. I kind of wish Obama didn`t care about the country and had just gone into Corporate Law like everyone one else in his class at Harvard. Then we could let this country die a faster and less painful death.

According to the media:

Asking the President an unpopular question is: "TEA BAGGERS AMBUSH OBAMA WITH UNFAIR AND MISLEADING QUESTIONS".

Same situation, but with rabid leftists asking a Republican Presidential Candidate a question is: "Republican unable to respond to courteous questions by completely sane (we promise) Code-Pink member".

And was it REALLY necessary to spend over $2million in tax dollars for some ugly, black buses to make it seem he`s more `down-to-earth`?

(uh-oh, I pointed out the buses were black and called them ugly..I`m gonna get called a `Racist` in 3...2...1...)
