you don`t have to be a math geek to understand this. Having made it through high school helps.

I got it, but was annoyed as the mispronunciation.

Perhaps having a degree in math makes me not a math geek?

Dang, right when I forgot trigonometry.

OH WAIT!

sine/tangent = cosine

sinb/tanb=cosb!

I almost didn`t get it, lol.

@TKD_Master - I`m pretty sure it`s first taught in geometry [maybe depends on the school?] because I never took trig and I don`t recall needing to *learn* sin/cos/tan in pre-calc which I took 2 years after geometry. Geometry probably covers the basic stuff, like the law of sines..

except that i read cos as cosine because that`s what it stands for >->

I could be wrong I guess, but I don`t remember doing anything with cos/sin/tan in geometry, but I do remember it in trig...

Cosby = Cool

Here`s some Cosby Wisdomisms...
"A word to the wise ain`t necessary. It`s the stupid ones who need the advice."
"Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it."
"Having a child is surely the most beautifully irrational act that two people in love can commit."
"Human beings are the only creatures on earth that allow their children to come back home."
"I am proud to be an American. Because an American can eat anything on the face of this earth as long as he has two pieces of bread."
{said to son} "We are not rich. Your mother and I are rich - you have nothing."
That last one is my favorite Bill Cosby wisdomism.

I pronounce cos as cosine [I`ve never felt the need to pronounce it any different even though it`s shortened when writing] so I didn`t get it right away, but it was still funny :P

I think it`s pronounced more like `kos` as opposed to `cause`.
