No hate here -- He`s not saying anything! It`s just gibberish, spouting back a bunch of disconnected words and phrases that don`t mean anything. Why does anyone think this is inspiring or meaningful? At best it`s cute.

The hate on this kid and his parents goes beyond belief. He`s doing what he likes and doesn`t appear to be being pushed into it. I don`t agree with it, but I`m not going to hate on any kid that enjoys what they have a talent for.

Those of you saying `Child Abuse` just hate religion, I`d bet this kid has a great, close, loving family. There is nothing crippling, abusive, or brainwashed in this 4 year old, there is nothing wrong with teaching children to have faith. I just don`t believe he should be up there preaching at that age, but there is no more wrong in it than 4yr. old girls going to pageants or a 4yr. old playing an instrument.

This is fine, right? Not confusing at all for a four year old or any other young children in the crowd. They know exactly what they`re talking about. But goddamn the people who want to have one gay couple on sesame street, we don`t want to push any (wrong)beliefs on our children at such a young age. Right?

This says a lot about religion(Christianity) when a child can lead a service. It maybe all nonsense but the church is eating this up. I know this is all in good fun but this is the kind of stuff that makes non believers stay further and further away from Christianity.

I can`t watch the video; it isn`t available in my area. However, would `duck speak` sum it up well? Obviously said within a derogatory context.

Good, the uploader censored the thing for where I live. Guess they didn`t want to show other parts of the world how American`s of extreme religious position, abuse and indoctrinate children.

Does anyone actually believe that this child has the critical thinking skills required to make a meaningful decision about faith? Does anyone truly think that this child can actually understand what he is saying or understand his own "beliefs?" How is this child any different from a parrot spouting rhetorical nonsense?

That the "faithful" put any stock in what comes out of the mouth of this child demonstrates that those unwilling to face reality about religion are truly fooling themselves.

Further, that this child`s parents would psychologically cripple him with this kind of indoctrination is criminal. Of course, that`s what modern religion relies upon ... the indoctrination of children. They MUST be baptized, they MUST take first communion, they MUST be Bar/Bat Mitzvah`ed or Confirmed or what have you. It is critical that they be brainwashed before they can make their own choices based on rationality and an adult understanding of the world

Business as usual in the church.

...He`s just speaking a bunch of nonsense strung together by vaguely religious terms.

I feel like this is a skit Tosh would write. In fact, I really hope he gets ahold of this clip.

madest:
Proves religion is a farce.
That quote only proves that you`re a hater.

I don`t approve of child preachers, but your venom against religion of all kinds is well known, you are more obsessed than this kid about it, just in a negative way.

This is actually in my city (as bad as I sort of hate to admit it). I do consider it brainwashing but I consider all religion the same. I just thought I`d chime in and let you know that Kanon isn`t the leader of the church. He has always watched his dad preach and they started giving him five minutes of the sermon where he can `preach` every service like this and supposedly it`s a big hit. Not defending it by any means because I think it`s outrageous but just giving you a bit more background than the video does.

This isnt new. Southern Baptists do this all the time. There`s one boy who did this for a living and he grew up to be relatively normal. They think it`s fun and he looks like he`s happy.

Granted, if I had a kid, I wouldn`t let them do this. Mostly because I`m Catholic and want grandkids someday.

Pentecostals. Why did I know it would be the Pentecostals. I`ll give you even odds that this kid will be into death metal and meth by the time he`s 13. He`ll be cutting by 14 and have seen the inside of a jail cell or psych ward at least once by 16. By the time he`s in his mid-twenties, law enforcement will have found him in a shack somewhere with the makings for letter bombs, an arsenal that would make the Navy Seals jealous and the preserved heads and genitalia of his many victims in a freezer out back.

Mark my words.
