@SoberGuy you failed to respond to my post. You cannot counter with your inept assertion. Instead you tend to play it off and chastise others on the A-bomb you hold onto so dear. Major Fail. Speaking of which go tend to your own riots and way of living in your vast Continent of corrupted governments and their genocidal approaches. Like Peru, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Bolivia, Venezuela, on and on.

@SoberGuy

Tell it to the 3.9 million Chinese people they killed and used chemical weapons on or the prisoners they committed unspeakable acts on. Do yourself a favor and study some history on it.

You`re the douchebag that needs to STFU.
Ever heard of Pearl Harbor dumbsh*t? If you launch an unprovoked attack of that scale on our country you bet your ass we are going to f*ck you into oblivion.

I love how the non Americans bring up the bombing of Hiroshima without considering all the crimes against humanity they committed like the rape of nanking or what it would`ve cost to invade the mainland.

Yeah because the Irish are such good natured people, and it`s pretty hard to differentiate between a riot and a wedding party in Scotland.

Riot? Or party? The result is normally the same....5 dead.

Haha - obviously I didn`t mean sadly only 5 people were killed!!! I meant it is sad that 5 people were killed but that this is a tiny number in comparison to say Iran or the bizarre 9/11 comparison that has been mentioned on here.

There`s a lot of schadenfreude about the England Riots from countries worldwide. Even Ahmadinejad came out and demanded police "show restraint" in perhaps the most ridiculously hypocritical statement ever made by a human. Fact is (sadly) only 5 people were killed. 3 in a hit and run. 1 gang related and 1 mugging. There have been arrests in relation to these murders. That aside scenes were sometimes spectacular but was basically opportunist looting from chavs who wanted free trainers and iphones. This is nothing like the disgraceful state sponsored murder that has occurred recently in Libya, Syria, Iran & Bahrain as members of the public are killed for wanting democracy.

@burbclaver "B R I N G B A C K N A T I O N A L S E R V I C E !!!!"

That`s an idea. Automatic sign up and frontline posting for anyone over 16 arrested in the riots that cannot demonstrate full-time employment or having paid a reasonable amount of tax in the prior year.

Or deportation to the colonies. "Where the bl00dy hell are you?"

Oh wait... no riots for OJ

Beat up a black dude and get off = riot
Kill a white lady and get off = book deal

i love how Americans act like 9.11 was the worst tragedy ever. its almost as if people have forgotten about 8/6 of 1945

Well now Mr. Ignorant Twat. What makes you think Americans think 9/11 was the worst tragedy ever.

Ask my Native American grandfather what was tragic to Americans.

Besides 8/6 was an answer to this.

Also the alternative response to Operation Olympic. Which would have been another tragedy of the Invasion of Japan by allied forces. Including British and Australian to which 6 million Japanese soldiers dug into the Mountains of Japan waiting to die to the last man. Also another estimate 20 million in Reserve. My Japanese spouse`s grandfather was a commanding officer of one regiment with chemical wea

@AsdaPrice I`m not worried about 9.11. That won`t affect me visiting the US in future. I am worried about how lots of well funded and well organised people want to see a sequel.

Makes me sad to be British but glad to be Scottish. It`s a damn shame that the mindless attitudes and actions of a few (in respect to the population of England) can set the tone for which others see a proud country. The acts of the ones cleaning it up on the days after are inspiring though, hundreds with mops, brooms and buckets to clean up after the thugs.

The british tourism board had to pull a "you`re invited" tourism video because of the rioting. I agree how well would a 9/11 tourism vid have gone down straight after. My problem with this though is the watermark you`re making a parody fine don`t make it look authentic enough some eejdits on the net might believe it. Also just to point out have you seen any footage of landmarks or tourist attractions being destroyed? And we had a weeks worth of civil unrest and no police brutality how many other countries can make the same point?

@PacoP42 - He has a point though, I wonder how well a 9/11 version of this would have gone down with New Yorkers a week after the towers fell?

I like this video, even though it`s terrible what happened over here it shows how skrewed some young people are. Because of this it`s really tense when I walk into a shop. I`ll give it another 2 weeks before I shopping in Birmingham.

you sound like a fuggin 12 year old. sorry to sound hipsterish, but the author of the video uses irony for comedic effect, he`s not actually supporting the riots

Since we`re applying huge gerealisations to a country based on 1-2k idiots rioting. Lets do that to america and some cities where they have over 400 gangs killing people. Not just breaking into shops..

.. Oh sorry, was i making too much sense for i-a-b then?

You guys are drated up for posting this, and the creator is even worse.

I live around the corner from Reeves Corner - that massive pile of flames you saw in this video. I went there last night and it is beyond emotional. Houses are charred to pieces, that whole store is now a short pile of rubble with a digger on top, and it still has a stench of burning. It`s as if the area was hit by a bomb in WW2. And it`s sad.

This was stupid. Plus the riots and looting were in very small pockets, and its all finished now and businesses are trading as usual.

However, these "You`re Invited" ads? I`ve never seen a Visit Britain ad before (as I`m in Britain), how odd. I bet they just show London though, they always do.

Northern Irish?? Really? So I`m guessing you`ve never been to Belfast or Derry on Halloween night?

During the London riots, watercannons weren`t used. They claimed that it was due to having no permission from MPs. Nah, the real reason is that they were still stationed in Derry from the usual Saturday night in town...
