How is this really a bad thing? I`d never do it, but he`s a cool mofo for it. I`ve seen a lot of stupid tats that are just useless. He isn`t doing anything wrong. Chill.

thats a good idea, ima do that with my kids someday, always have them on me, a body picture of something that they like, to remind me of them, and even if the dad were unemployed and didnt pay child support, hes UN employed, he CANT pay, and honestly, this gesture DOES completely make up for anything and everything else, its a piece of ur kid, that in and of itself shows love, so drat u

I don`t think its so bad really. I mean its where he can cover it easily with his shirt. I really like all these "my kids drawing" tattoo`s. I`m considering getting (much smaller ones) myself. It`s nice to have memories of your kids when they are small like this, because soon the are all grown up, hating you and running off to start their own life.

How come no-one`s commented yet on how good the tattoo artist must be to have gotten every detail almost exactly right?

I mean - wow - this guy is where you go for your baby-mama tats and your kid photo ink - he`d probably do it right...

Also - he didn`t miss the green plant thing - he just had it moved, looks like he didn`t want it going too far into his abdomen - so he cut off the second heart and sun too.

That tattoo is so much win I dont even know where to begin.

Any of you who complain about how this will look in 50 years, or any comparable nonsense should pretty much grow up and stop looking down at the gestures of others to hide your own insecurities.

There are many ways to show love for your children, and putting it in ink of a picture that will obviously remain in the family for years as a nostalgic memorabilia is nothing short of great.

Id buy that guy a night out on town tbh

This is not cute, or lovable, or a great idea. It`s impulsive and pointless, an it`ll look even dumber when the kid`s hasty scribble is long forgotten and the now-teen girl is mortified every time Dad takes off his shirt.
IAB Should not make assumptions about a persons past or future and judge from only what the picture depicts
Are you f*cking sh*tting me? Insulting sterotypes is exactly what we do around here. Anything vaguely dark-coloured is racist. Anything even vaguely involving somewhere in south-east Asia is Japan being weird. Anything involving anyone with even vaguely auburn-coloured hair is Ginger. Come on man, get with the times!

@IVBYDRK: Conservative? really? One or two recent posts that MAY sway towards the right in no way means the site has gone conservative - the majority of the political posts in the past have very liberal.... not to mention the images...

If anything, IAB _tries_ to be unbiased, though that rarely works out...

Wow IAB way to stereotype.... first you turn pretty conservative, now your stereotyping...

I think its sweet and that dad, actually being there and spending the money to get it done, says a lot more about him than assuming he doesnt pay support, he probably doesnt need to because he is probably always home with the child...

IAB is sucking badly if they take captions like this

He missed the green pant thing in the bottom, one of the pink hearts and the sun.

It looks like the guy has other tatoos so this probably isn`t a big deal for him.

I don`t see what`s so remarkable about this, assuming it isn`t fake.

There are less... scarring ways of demonstrating your love for your daughter though. ... assuming it`s his daughter.

I`m gonna join in with a lot of others and say that this is kinda cool.

How is it any different from getting your child`s face, name, hand, or whatever tattooed on yourself? I think this is a step above - it`s unique, original, and far more personal.

All that aside, I do find the tattoo itself a little big. That`s at least a good 12" or so in height and 6" in width. For tattoos, in general, I like them a little smaller and if you`re going to get a piece that large, it seems nicer if it`s a little `fuller`.
