I actually believe walmart. I bet she was all like `don`t hate on me because I`m beautiful` and when the other women were clawing at her eyes through pure jealousy she just lashed out like any other hotty would do. She really isn`t an attention seeker, if anything she wishes she were less beautiful.

90 degrees fahrenheit is 32 degrees celsius. That person may not be used to such temperatures. Live in England for a year. Go back to America. You will be roasting.

It must be Tram-law to hide female anatomy while selling to it. If she bought maxi-pads there she can`t wear them in the store? BS!

Also, 90 degrees? It`s supposed to be 107 here on Wednesday, BEFORE the heat index, and I plan on wearing clothes all day.

I just don`t understand the disconnect between what people THINK they look like and what they REALLY look like sometimes. This is just gross. Have some self respect.
I recently lost 45 lbs (still a little chubby, but I`m workin on it)and was incredibly self conscience about going into a little head shop in a bikini top. NO WAY I would walk into friggin Wal-Mart like that!

Wow. Her excuse was that it was 90 degrees? It`s been over 100 here and I still wear a shirt. She seriously could have just put a shirt on and everything could have been avoided.

And she was embarrassed when they asked her to put a shirt on or leave? That whole outfit is embarrassing. Not to mention just nasty. I wear shorts, flip flops, and a t-shirt every day of my life, so I don`t claim to be a fashion guru, but goddamn. If you can`t put a shirt on to go somewhere, then don`t go.

It just seems like she`s an old woman who thinks the world owes her something because she`s old.

She was embarassed? There is no way in hell that woman could ever be embarassed!

And what makes people think that just becuase wal-mart sells something, you can walk around in the store wearing it? They sell depends at wall mart too, but I wouldn`t want to see an 80 year old man walking around in his huggies!

2) no one should shop at wal-mart, the place is low quality and low energy

3) never watch local news

On one hand Walmart has pretty much become a mecca for crazy people wearing outlandish stuff so I don`t see why they suddenly decided to single this woman out, I have seen pics of worse on People of Walmart`s site. I myself boycotted Wallyworld years ago and never shop there for many reasons so I do not know if they are trying to eliminate this type of behaviour in their stores...but on the other hand she was embarrassed by being asked to put on more clothing but not embarrassed by going out looking like that?! The problem is this country is too sue crazy...instead of trying to make a big deal and a lawsuit she should just stop shopping there, vote with her dollar and be done with it...if more people did that there would be less businesses around giving crappy service and stuff.

I don`t doubt that Sandy was `verbally abusing` other customers.

I`ve met people like Sandy.

Lots of places have dress codes (no shirts, no shoes, so service).
The only place where I can see this being fine is if you are beside a beach. I walk into stores on the boardwalk with a bikini, and bare foot no problem.

She`ll never shop at walmart again.

...I find that hard to believe.

I also don`t know who`s side of the story to believe. She`s fat and dumb and walmart is walmart.

... and of course the news report conveniently leaves out the crucial bit of information that would have wrapped this up in 10 seconds: is it against the rules to shop in the store dressed like that?

I would think that it isn`t, but hey... given everything else wrong with this I wouldn`t be surprised.

You`ve depressed me in every single post today IAB.

On a totally related note, her expecting to be financially compensated (for humiliation caused by her own idiocy) is absolute bullpoo! Anyone who is as large as she is should know how to dress properly and accept that showing their stomach and body that way are inappropriate. It is called personal pride.

Goddammit!!! Get over it people.
THIS is what humans look like when they smoke a pack per day,
eat half a cow per week and work hard labor without enough sunlight.

Real human beings do not look like runway models
if they don`t have a runway model`s life which
most people do not.

So, that was supposed to be her and her sister? They were both very masculine people. And why would she think it was ok to wear that bikini top ANYWHERE? No shirt, no shoes, no service. That`s a pretty common rule in stores all over America. A bathing suit does not count as a shirt and just because you can`t take the heat baking those rolls all over your fat body, doesn`t mean you have to subject the world to your disgusting ass.

"She`ll never shop at Walmart again" Yea right, the next time she gets a craving she`ll be right back in there.

Okay. I grew up in beach country. And no matter how hot it was outside, I still saw no problem with putting on a shirt or a cover-all to go in to a store. Society has to draw the line *somewhere*. Otherwise, she`d be able to get by wearing nothing at all.

A store should be able to reserve the right to refuse service to any customer if their attire is not appropriate for the establishment. It deserves to uphold the level of respect it wishes to receive. I can`t walk into a black-tie restaurant in a bathing suit. I mean, granted, it *is* Wal-Mart, but if the company doesn`t want to stoop that low, I don`t see a problem with it.
