@LandoGriffin

I`m in Indiana for the time being, and if I recall right, the limits here are 3 bottles of any alcohol combined or 2 cases of beer, in the same transaction. I don`t drink. Like I said, I`m in Indiana, live here, and this state sucks, which is why I drive a truck and only use this state for a residence, most times I`m not here. Indiana has 3 things in common with Paris Hilton...they`re both white, flat, and easy to enter.
Why would non-americans celebrate 4th of July? Do you celebrate Australia Day?
I celebrate every holiday I can. Not that I need a reason to party.

Ummm, no limits in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri, or Arkansas. Just a few of the places I have been recently.

I live in California and I have no idea what you are talking about. I`ve been to BevMo during their "buy one bottle of wine get another identical bottle for 5 cents" sale and I must have bought over 40 bottles. They put each 12 bottles in a nice little box and I took home three and a half full cases, that would be 42 bottles. Way more than this guy is buying.

What are these "limits" (in most states) you are talking about and what state do you live in? Utah?

Yeah, but if you stand the bottles up, they just fall over anyways.

Limits? Heh I can go to my local liquor store and buy as much alcohol as I want. I once spent close to $5500 for a party, took me 5 carts and 2 pick-up trucks, and wow! What a party lol....

The closest any non American I know ever came to celebrating the 4th of July was watching Independence Day with a c.o. and a cigar for the end.

The person asking the question is a stupid c*nt. The unemployment figures are fraudulent and don`t represent the actual jobless rate. The stock market going up is not a sign of a healthy economy; it`s a sign of inflation.

And Mitt Romney is another cookie-cutter politician. He belongs on a TV drama, not in a position of power.
On that note, why do we say "fourth of July?" Why not just call it "Independence Day?"
Now you`ve got that question into my head and I have no idea what the answer is.

Also, why call it "4th of July" when the usual USA format for dates would make it "July 4th"?

I won`t be celebrating a civil war/rebellion/yet another Anglo-French war. Not my cup of tea.

@easiersaid: nobody cares where the image came from. Lighten up, it`s funny.

Anyway, I plan to celebrate Independence Day the same way all Americans do. I`m going to burn an effigy of King George III while eating apple pie and playing baseball.

On that note, why do we say "fourth of July?" Why not just call it "Independence Day?" After all, nobody asks "So, are you going to see your parents for 25th of December?"

"I don`t understand? Why would Non-Americans celebrate an American national holiday... I am most confused."

"Well based on the usual comments from Europeans, I would guess you celebrate that we left."

Also, we celebrate Cinco de Mayo and St. Patrick`s day... not officially though, more like just another reason to drink!
