still making films with blonde haired "german" nazis (like i said, germany is not blonde and blue eyed really, skandinavian people are) is an insult to people living in germany. a dictatorship regime that was installed for about 8 years (more than 60 years ago and not a bit like that before 1943) is a sad thing, and when you live here and have to do what the dictator says or you loose everything you got is no fun. US films often show nazi "people" like an own race.. in fact, imagine you get a dictatorship in the usa and have to behave like that. and your dads and grandfathers would have been called "nazi" people of the USA. how would you feel with such a history ? they weren`t nazis before 43 and weren`t nazis after the war, and even while the war was going on, german soldiers didn`t want to kill others. they were forced to. can you imagine how hard THAT is ? so USA, please stop making silly and stupid nazi films of germany. just STOP that and stop beeing

again, nazi means nationalist, there are more nationalists in the usa than in germany i believe. we learned from what happened here back then. no people i know would be proud to call themselves german. no doubt, there are many who identify themselves with the german flag that today stands for justice and freedom and is totally different to the third reich flag. i really hope some of you US citizens catch what i am writing here and stop calling german people nazis for a war that happened over 60 years ago and was NOT a german cultural thing like you all believe. come here and talk to people and listen to their stories, how their life was damaged. talk to old people and see they never have been nazis and even helped jewish people risking their own life. stop showing the world how stupid US people are when they talk about this. maybe this will change what european people think of the USA. i really hope so. peace.

it really seems US people have to get educated about the war back then. the nazi regime was installed in germany by austrian people. hitler was an austrian guy, and together with 4 other people he planned the third reich in wien, austria. nothing to do with germany. none of them was blonde. they just used the story of a better race to hypnotize people and get soldiers for THEIR war. nothing to do with germans. they had to fight in the war and there were "some" stupid people among them (like Zeegrr60 for example, how stupid is it to call another guy a nazi who just told the story about what was going on and how the country was destroyed by the regime and the war ???). i hope you people will understand one time that people living in germany lived there for ages before and are no nazis like you want to call them. it would be the same if a right wing party get`s control over the usa and all people in the world call all US citizens NAZIs for 100 years after 5 years of this regime.

oh yeah. good film, but seems it was made in the usa. ;)) the actors don`t really speak german, i didn`t understand them and i live here. nazi guys back then weren`t that hard and all blonde and blue eyes ;))) my grandfather had to be in the 5 nazi war years, too, it was just 5 years and he was not blonde and had no blue eyes, like all think in the usa. in fact, more people in germany are dark haired and just few have blue eyes ;). get it right if you do such a film US people... i know it`s a great story to tell everyone, but i guess not all US citizens are simple and low educated and talk like texans like they are promoted in Europe. even if it`s a good story to tell, you know what i mean.

I don`t see why you`d pick fault with the film showing filters on cigarettes, they existed during the war years.

As extremely implausible as it was, I find it impossible not to be moved a little. In reality she could have been caught and roasted alive. This is kind of sugar-coating things.

"cliche"? Oh I suppose, but it was 3:00 long, WTF else can you do? Establish charecters? Nope, gotta get straight to the point!

I`ll look through the comments, and if no one "gets it" I`ll explain it to y`all!

It makes me wonder why he took so long to return it- the war was over like 66 years ago... Or at least in 1959 when they started making super glue!

After watching some of the Youtube suggestions that came with this clip, it seems the point of this competition was to creat a 3 minute movie using only the dialogue given. Neat concept. I think this was deserving of the win. And eye leakage did occur, but only a little.
