It"s the bass guitar that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.

George Lucas on the `12 parsec kessel run` "...in the Star Wars universe, traveling through hyperspace requires careful navigation to avoid stars, planets, asteroids, and other obstacles, and that since no long-distance journey can be made in a straight line, the "fastest" ship is the one that can plot the "most direct course", thereby traveling the least distance."

Say you want to go from one side of the grand canyon to the other. You have either a car or a plane to use. Should you try to drive the most direct route with the car you are going to plummet into the canyon. Take the most direct route with the plane and you arrive safely.

I recall a parsec being a unit of length, not time.

The guitar that helped Tyber Zann escape from a Kessel prison cell.

I`m an idiot, I forgot to mention that it has to hard so the neck doesn`t snap off due to the extreme tension of the strings, if you can`t tighten it the correct tuning, it`s useless as tits on a bull.

@Zombiemike

Yes it does, it has a great deal to do with it. The main factor is it has to solid and hard. Wood is the best, but a hard acrylic will work. It`s all about good vibrations translating into good sound.

It`ll still work, it`ll just most likely sound like crap. Judging by the placement of the dish, it`s simply a show piece and doesn`t matter how it sounds.

@Birdfather

You do know that with an electric bass, the body doesn`t have a whole lot to do with the sound it makes, right?
