Not satire from The Onion maybe but a total joke nonetheless, I mean the Daily Mail? It`s like Fox News UK

@Glyndwr - Not fake. Google it and pick your own news source. Most news services are carrying the story.

It`s not an onion article, but it is a Daily Mail article thus all credibility has been lost.

I didn`t say it was fake, merely that most articles in the Daily Mail are ridiculous. A point I believe echoed by 03swalker

On a side note, if you Google "Daddy`s Little Stripper" you photos of Myley Cyrus and Britney Spears which I thought was funny.

Again, it`s in the Daily Mail and every article in the Daily Mail or `Mein Kampf` is to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Mmm- to be fair pole dancing has nuch in common with gymnastics, something small girls are quite good at in the olympics. it does have sexual connotations - so lets call it something else, tone down the sexy moves and make the kids wear the right clothing. then I can see no harm- but learning to pole dance as such may not be wise!

the woman running it should be arrested for pedophilia. If there`s dudes out there that are in to little boys, why is it such a stretch that there`s women out there that are into little girls. Either way this is horrible.

    At least wait until they`re 16 :P

Like most Daily Mail articles, the fanatical, witch hunt comments are funnier than the article itself.

i agree with madduck, it can be changed in many ways to be less sexual, there should not be feather boas or pictures of scantily clad women. if the owners/proprietors of this type of thing had any sense whatsoever they would make this class look/feel like what they advertise it to be, an EXCERSIZE class. make the kids wear leotards just like in gymnastics and don`t have them rubbing their crotches all over the damn pole. also maybe throw some other gymnast type things into the regime like the rings or the standing horse or spring board or something.

I was willing to give the concept the benefit of the doubt until I saw the pics. Nope...that`s not just "excercize"....and those aren`t gym clothes. I almost barfed in my mouth.

you can`t clean this up to be an "exercise class"

For starters, kids don`t need "exercise class". They`re like dogs, take them to the park, thow a ball and they`ll run around like idiots. Free!

Second, you don`t see many poles in ballet. the only dancers who use one is strippers. it`s sexual and that`s never gonna change. So do you really want to get your daughters used to working a pole? As long as you`re at it, stake out a corner for them and get`em some fishnets and stiletos.

I wonder why there were two different acrobatic acts (one male, one female)who employd a pole as part of their routine on America`s Got Talent last week. They were both described as incredible athletes. I guess if you want it to be sexual, there you go. That you see little kids as sexual objects says more about you than them. Oh and The Mail Online is a great source for news now that Ruphert dratdock shut down his rag.

We should not be teaching our kids to be sexy firemen. However, way to dress your kid to look the part, retards!
