Wowummwow, I agree now that you say that, but I still thought it was a gorgeous piece of art and physics. The army men thing was cool, and I liked how the ball rolled along the previously-toppled books at the end.

"On second thought... there was no end result. I`m not even sure what this. "

The end result was the lifting of the camera

I`m all for Rube Goldberg projects but a number of elements seemed repeated in several segments and the haphazard pacing didn`t allow the viewer to appreciate the machine. Also there were additional things going on other than the flow from beginning to end which detracted from the aesthetics.

Imagine the last thing to happen was some poor schmuck being tied to a chair with a gun-contraption aimed at him just waiting for the fuse to come along. I would freak out

I was going comment on how nice it was filmed for a change. Than they showed it was a professional with a full steady cam setup. That puts it on par with the guy running around with hand cameras.

That`s what I thought it was at first, a guy with a really steady hand. Instead of a moderately good steady cam operator.

@james

There are a lot of people who would do something like this in on shot just to prove that they could do it, you`re truly proud of yourself when you can get one of these to work.

Whether or not this one was is a different story, but it was awesome none the less!

@jamesboxy: You understand what the purpose of a Rube Goldberg machine is, right? Are you trying to say the people that made this video just blatantly lied to us?

All of you, who are thinking that that thing happened in one shot are noobs.No body want to do that much hard-work,if you can cheaply achieve that by editing the video.
