Incidentally, I never said that all, or even most, of the women at these events are extremists.

If I wanted to use your techniques against you, I`d call that female paranoia.

But I`d never stoop that low.

Thank you for continuing to demonstrate my point.

You`ve got large numbers of people from a defined biological group controlling the streets in an aggressive way, making up bad things and attributing them to "the other", i.e. those not in the biological group.

You can spin it any way you like, but at best you`re cherry-picking in an attempt to polish a turd. None of the things you talk about have anything to do with these rallies. At least, not according to the people who organise them. You`re prettifying something which is far from pretty.

@Angilion See, and no offense, but that is exactly the type of male paranoia I`m talking about! How does an Anti-Rape protest suggest to you in anyway that women are trying to be seen a "victim class" or label men an "oppressor class"?

Did you ever think that maybe some of these women just want tougher penalties for rapists (LOL xCYBERDYNEx), better services for rape victims, and for the issue not to be so taboo and stigmatized? Do you know that many rape test kits currently aren`t even run against the offender databases because they don`t have the budget?! How would you propose for women bring attention to these issues? Knit something?! Heck no, we have to take so the streets and complain!

I don`t understand why men find women protesting rape so threatening... what do you think we`re all going to turn into lesbians, come for your genitals in the night, and lock you in cages?

I`m sure that 95% of those women are not as extreme as your p
It puzzles me that more men don`t support this. Men have sisters, mothers, and wives right?
Most of whom don`t advocate using rape as a political tool to promote the idea of women as a victim class (and thus, either indirectly or directly, men as an abuser class) and making stuff up to suit that, e.g. the whole "Slutwalk" thing, which is based on claiming that people who say one thing have said a completely different thing.

So no, the fact that I have female relatives doesn`t mean I support that.

@xCYBERDYNEx No, but thank you for asking. I just happen to believe that all women should speak out on this issue since it is so often considered shameful or taboo. Really though, I`m willing to open my big mouth and speak out when it comes to just about any women`s issue, and no that doesn`t mean I want to attack men. I happen to like men.

I just don`t see why these women should be criticized or labeled ball busters because they support tougher sentences for rapists, awareness of the issue, and speak out against injustices like they one I mentioned previously. It puzzles me that more men don`t support this. Men have sisters, mothers, and wives right?

@mastrmind I don`t know mastrmind, is that really "hte best" you can do? It`s hard to debate with someone who can`t even spell correctly or reply to the right post, but I suppose I`ll try...

I hate to be captain obvious here, but wasn`t debating whether or not the officer was found guilty. He obviously wasn`t. I was debating on whether or not he actually committed the crime and whether or not the preponderance of evidence should have proved him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. In my opinion it should have. If you believe that having a taped confession, a victims testimony, vaginal injuries, and the admitted bogus calls the officers placed to 911 so they could return to the woman`s residence are not enough to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt then I don`t know what you think is. The reason they acquitted was because there was no DNA evidence, which makes sense since the officer admitted on tape that he used a condom when forcing himself on the inebriated woman.

Actually, the picture was taken at one of the recent "Slutwalk" protests that were held nationwide to protest rape and sexual abuse towards women. Just Google slutwalk and you can read all about it. The guy pictured was a supporter.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/04/20/slutwalk-united-states-city_n_851725.html

LOL, I wish these feminists would come to the parts of the world that I`ve been, where women don`t have rites, Where you`re beaten into submission when you speak up, be glad of what we`ve given you already. Sure rape is funny, but I agree that it`s bad too, but seriously pull out the sandy tampons and get over yourselves.

Unfortunately, having seen the comments already posted, I feel the need to add something....

I`ve had enough of the "man-hating". I`ve SEEN women abuse themselves in order to claim rape or abuse. I have seen this with my own eyes and had to file police statements stating as such (with people I didn`t even know).

In spite of that, the men were taken into custody, fingerprinted, and presumed guilty until proven innocent.

There really is such a thing as crying, "wolf" and it`s just enough to destroy a man`s life. Sadly, there really are rape victims out there who will suffer because too many women abuse the "rape" cry without any rape what-so-ever. Eventually this will affect all people, regardless of sex, and we`ll be right back in the 19th century again.

So much for human progress...women can be just as scummy as men.

A friend of mine mentioned to me a week or so ago about something called a "slut walk" in Canada.(maybe?)
Apparently the whole thing involves women taking back the word "slut" and debunking the myth that women who dress provocatively aren`t "asking to be raped".

Anyhoo, that`s why the mans sign made sense to me.

How dare I use an overtly sexist pun?!

They were aquitted of the charges, while they may be creepers, they weren`t found to be rapists.

Guilty even after proven innocent for you eh?

@mastrmind AH HA HA! Mastermind my a--. That is all.

Oh, except this. I find it very interesting that you chose to attempt to insult/demean/attack me by using a sexist slur, "unbunch your panties". You seem to be a very troubled person, a person who feels threatened by anti-rape rallies, a person who can`t read a full article, and a person who feels compelled to attack people using sexist slurs instead of logic. My best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I`m going to go ahead and guess that guy left with that sign somewhere other than in his hand.

But c`mon, who`s that chick`s sign aimed at? Are there guys somewhere scratching their heads going "wow, I never knew women felt that way." It`d be like a sign at an anti-gun rally saying "hey, bullets hurt!"

Bah, crappy quoting system.

Anyway, Now that I see you actually posted that and it was horribly quoted by someone else. We shall discuss. Let`s get into "They basically admitted to doing that"

and then they changed stories, again and again.

Use recent events for that. Casey Anthony admitted repeatedly that her child was with a babysitter, ON TAPE EVEN! and admitted to working at a real job, ON TAPE EVEN!

eh, enough of that. Tape and truth are two different things. My story of a guy I knew that had his own girlfriend punching herself in the face while screaming rape. He was taken downtown, and booked for rape. The cops mistreated him based solely on the word of her. The evidence being her bruised face.

Not all people in this world tell the truth. Not all people like the cops and will accuse them of whatever they can for their own means.

Did it happen the way that it was told - Maybe.
Maybe not.

They were aquit

Re-read what I said, and point to where I said anything about what goes on at an anti rape rally. I replied to what jennish said about the current women`s movement. Unbunch your panties and move on.

@jtre

Point to where I quote fox news. or any fox affiliate for that matter.

But heres the link you wanted. If USA today isn`t on your hate list. Most opionated morons hate either CNN or Fox news depending on political affiliations. SO we`ll try usatoday

@mastrmind Either you are a complete idiot or you were too lazy to read the article that I posted and just decided to make some abstract argument about "things on tape".

PURPOSE OF AN ANTI-RAPE RALLY FOR IDIOTS WHO DON`T KNOW: To support rape victims, to give voice to an important women`s issue that is often considered taboo or shameful, to support tougher sentences for rapists, to speak out against injustices like in the case I mentioned earlier, to get the government to run EVERY rape test kit against their databases NOT JUST SOME of them due to budget restraints, BUT NOT TO RALLY AGAINST MEN.

That`s just stupid human paranoia at it`s finest. Let`s all hate the women who are against rape! Clearly they`re so stoopid man haters! I rulz!

@Jennish

I knew a guy whose ex-gf punched herself in the face, and started to scream " RAPE "

Things that are said, whether on or off tape, can`t always be taken at face value.

On a side note, what exactly are women still fighting for nowadays, seen plenty of news articles where women make up 60 percent of college grads, get paid on average 1.05 per dollar a man makes * pending on with or without children * and are given more scholarships than men are. We even have a women`s histroy month.. where`s the Man`s history month?

why is an anti rape rally necessary? its not like we have to still make a law against it, or people still believe there is nothing wrong with it or something, its quite the opposite in fact, all it takes is one girl to say "he raped me" to start a criminal record on a guy weather she consented or not, its kind of disgusting how much its being abused actually

I have nothing wrong with getting together about things you believe in, but rape is one of those that no one (besides the rapists, obviously) really wants anyway >> are they going to try to get a law making rape illeagal? or for it to be taken more seriously in some cases? depending on what it`s actually about changes whether or not it`s worth it to me...

""Anti-rape rallies, good golly has the women`s movement decended to this?"

First off, I think you meant descended. Secondly, please catch up on women`s issues if you are going to comment on them. There are a million good reasons for women to have rallies like this.

Not the least of which is the two police officers who were recently acquitted after basically admitting, on tape, that they took a drunken woman back to her home (after a cab driver called because she was overly intoxicated), rapped her, and then when back to rape her again! (story here)

Really be a little more secure in your manhood and stop attacking women for rallying! It`s not the ball chopping off rally, it`s the anti-rape rally. If you can`t support that then I think something is wrong with you not them."

I always appreciate it when the cops come to rap with me.

True, but "women`s rights" is the same thing.

Think about it - the whole point is to make everything a right *for women only*. That`s why it`s called "women`s rights" and not "human rights" (which is a completely different idea).

There`s not much in "the west" for them to use as an excuse to pretend their sexism is fair. So they`re scraping around to find something they can use as propaganda. This is it at the moment.

There`s a difference between women`s rights and feminism ladies. Women`s Rights are great and something we should all support in pursuit of equality. Feminism (feminism as a political movement not just women who are proud) is nothing short of using an issue to take as much as can be taken without any care or desire for true equality. Look up the video clip from "The View" talking about the lady who cut off her husbands bits and ground them up in the disposal for an example of what I mean.
