It may seem funny...but my guess to why they ran out, they only made maybe a dozen or so, considering if you weigh enough to fit a 5XL, then you have some serious medical issues.

Actually, Tubby..my husband has no issues medically..he is just 6 foot nine. And a 4 or 5 xl is the only shirts long enough to cover him. So not all people who wear them are fat or medically stunted. Although, at that convention its more than possible.

For a point of comparison, my dad is 6`8" with VERY large muscles. He has a bit of a gut and is definitely not one of those storky tall guys at over 300 pounds. He only wears a 2X Tall.

I didn`t know you can buy shirts this big outside a speical store, I rarly see more then just XL. A friend got me a XXXL he found for a joke and even on a bigish guy like me it was a dress.

Also just so other British people can get more of a laugh, UK medium is US small. So they are out of stock of XXXXXXL...

It`s sad when they have to use numbers in the sizes.

Surely when there is one size below medium, and six above it, it`s time for America as a nation to re-evaluate what counts as "medium".

    So instead of
S M L XL XXL XXXL XXXXL XXXXXL
    you have
XXS XS S M L XL XXL XXXL

That`s right. You need to turn "large" into "small".

Instead if 5XL, they should just refer to it as "O" as in, obese.

you are absolutely right apedrana. all Americans are fat idiots. the fine folks in Australia are all svelte nobel laureates. also, i regularly go to other countries to buy t-shirts (cause i`m such a moron), so i can vouch for your earlier point. gonna go eat a stick of butter and shove crayons up my nose now.
