The Japanese (or course) have developed new, kick-ass technology in how to wipe up semi-liquid materials.

Semi-Ironic statement that should say
"I`M only making MYself look like a loser with nothing better to do other than complain." :-D

If this worked on carpets I would spend any amount of money on it. I can`t tell you how much I hate cleaning up dog vomit and crap

I don`t really see this used for cleaning, rather for easy decorating and transporting complicated structures for chefs.

When it can pick it up that easily from surfaces other than extremely smooth glass, let us know.

So what if the original part is old, I`ve seen it several times, actually. I`ve not seen the practical uses of it that`s shown in this. So really; shut up about the reposts. it`s not like you`re paying for this stuff anyway.

Jesus. I am so god damn sick of people saying `old post is old, so ooollld`

Yeah well, get over it.

Why is it such a big deal...this is amazing technology and rather than focus on the awesomeness of it, there are idiots who b*tch and moan like children. You`re only making yourself look like a loser with nothing better to do other than complain.

I seem to recall something in the original post about it being for the food industry, like culinary arts or something. Couldn`t this site have a script/program to just eliminate reposts? Isn`t there a tech savvy, geek/hacker around here that could donate their creativity to make one for IAB?

nifty tech, but i still don`t see much applicability to it. there`s already tech in factories that do what this claims just fine; maybe not as well, but good enough, and with mass production good enough is fine.
Probably only works cleaning up perfectly smooth surfaces though.
Exactly what I was about to say. I could imagine any non-smooth surface it would probably just stick to the surface and push itself backwards, then come back forwards, repeat.

Which would probably equal hours of entertainment for someone like me, but still...

@CaptKangaroo yeah cause any flat tray can scoop up a pizza, but unlike your tray this could scoop up a pizze that was upside down.

I`ve got something like this-though not automated-for transferring pizza to the baking stone in the oven.Had it for years,so I don`t really a big leap in tech here.
