    I do like the skip track idea; then again, if you change the station, you get another 6 skips

    they already sort of have a love and like difference. you like the song the first time around and then `I`m tired of this song` the next time around. it won`t remove it from your playlist, but it`ll cut down the frequency of that song

    Streaming internet radio. If you remember Yahoo`s Launch Cast (which helped me through many a college class), it`s similar to that.

    Pandora sucks now. Jango is much better. Spotify is even better but it`s not quite the same thing. I dumped Pandora and went to Jango a few months ago. They do have better options and matching.

    Tip for all the IABers out there: If you want people to leave your house just put "Alley Cat" on loop and grab a broom. Then, once the confusion settles in, make like the Sandman at the Apollo and sweep those fools out! Be sure to smile while you do it so they can`t see your rage. Works like a charm.

    For $3 a month, Pandora One is the bomb. Higher quality audio, more skips allowed, and several other features I can`t think of right now. Why are you people complaining about the free version not giving you everything you want? What do you expect for nothing?

    They do. You need to buck up & pay for the service if you want this feature.

    Personally, I haven`t subscribed as the mobile app has some issues that would royally annoy me if I was paying for it. Songs stop playing for a few minutes, then start up again. Hangs and the end of songs sometimes. Won`t quickly load another song if I skip. And just the other day I got a random Rolling Stones song on my Mushroomhead station - eh?? OK, so that was a one-time error. The others are infrequent enough to live with, and they actually have improved since I reported them to the support team.
    I will likely subscribe next month anyway as I move back to the west coast so I will want more than 6 skips an hour for a 5-day drive...for $36 it`s not terrible.

    @Aduizuki
    The mobile app has never had those errors for me.
    However, it does randomly play Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers on any station I listen to.. it never fails. lol

    "They do. You need to buck up & pay for the service if you want this feature. "

    nope, even with Pandora one, you`re still limited to number of skips an hour (6) but you`re not limited to number of skips in the day (free version is 12 across all stations). The beauty of Pandora One skipping is if you exceed your skips/thumbsdown, you change the station and get 6 more skips. you can have multiple stations based on the same genre/artist, so you basically do have unlimited skips.

    I have found the only time you really need to skip more than 6 times an hour (or 12 times in a day) is when you first create a station; I hardly ever find myself skipping more than 2-3 times in an hour, if even

    @Audizuki:

    you wouldn`t happen to have a blackberry, would you? my gf has the same issues on her Pearl. paid subscription won`t fix that, it`ll only get rid of the ads; she still gets these same errors when logged into my account, I think it has more to do with signal/software than account privileges

    @Aduizuki
    Never had any of those issues on my Android device, nor my iPhone. What`s your hardware?

    As a sidenote- if you listen to Pandora on either an Android device or an iPhone/iPod touch, there is a hack (iOS) and an app (Android) that eliminates 90% of audio ads, and gives you unlimited skips.

    I used them for a while- but like Dark Magician said, in reality I only ever skip more than a few times when I am setting up a station, or fine tuning a station. Overall Pandora has gotten pretty good at choosing a new song that I won`t skip! Yay technological refinement!

    @darkmagic & Dicken - I have a BB Torch. I know subscribing isn`t going to resolve the issues, was just saying I`m probably going to end up subscribing anyway for my road trip despite the issues. As noted before, I did report the bugs to support and they`ve since released a few updates which has caused the error rate to drop, so I`m not too upset with the performance.
    Guy I know has it on his Droid (Moto) and it is a total POS version. Constant freezing, full-screen VIDEO ads after only a couple songs (no friggen thanks), always takes forever to load a station. My issues were def not as bad as his.

    @nubblins - LMFAO!! they have it out for you. ;)

    Why not just download music and play what you want to hear? If you use services like this you probably don`t really listen to music and just hear rather than listen so why bother?

    @spaner You can use it to find new artists to download. I know what you mean though. Most people use it just so they have music playing for background noise.

    I think Last.fm is a little better than pandora. When you make a personal station, it seems better about picking good songs.
