Too bad he lives in Canada - My recycle bin on any given day could set him up for life.

Even if he`s an adult with bad handwriting / drawing skills, I`d still give him the money. *shrug*

@Dover78
Try changing the default language on your spell checker. "Aluminium" is the correct spelling in Britain, Australia, New Zealand and others.

He forgot to put his age on the poster, gets more response if he`s young eh?

He could be 32 with bad handwriting... lolz!

Aluminium and Aluminum are interchangeable. Actually, writing this comment, I just noticed that spell check flags Aluminium as incorrect. I`m gonna go with kid on this one though, simply for the fact that he actually hand drew the sign. Any adult would be entirely too lazy to do that and make on on the computer.

Smart kid. Spelt aluminium phonetically for how he says it. He`s going to be alright in life.

Last week, at the end of a ball tournament, I polished off the last of the water in my bottle. A 10-year-old kid jumped up in excitement, and said "Can I have it?!?!? I`m raising money for a srfrfgfgf" (I don`t remember what it was). With my giant softball voice, I rained echoes of terror down upon him, screeching verily, "REUSE IS BETTER THAN RECYCLING, YOU OCEAN-KILLING DEMON FROM BP." I then fist-drated him to death and used his innards as a condiment for my fruit salad. MLIA.

This is cute. I would help the kid out. At least he is trying to make his own money and not expect mommy and daddy to fork over the cash for something he wants to do.

Why did I never think of this for con money?

Whoring myself out is fun for a while, but gets tiring eventually...

How about he gets a job? That`s better than public humiliation.

Dear Logan:

I`m not going to help your selfish cause. Recycling glass is generally inefficient and more wasteful of time, money and energy than tossing it in a landfill. Thanks for playing,

We have automatic recycling here every two weeks. I don`t think you get paid for turning in empty bottles since the city does it anyway.

It would probably easier for this kid to get a paper route or some such simple job. ... or chores for the parents.
