I can understand the tech behind it, it`s perfectly possible and I`m fairly sure it`s legit.

To bad the arms are mildly transparent. They`re probably less so when they both have different weapons however.

    For those in doubt,

    wikipedia.org/wiki/RealD_Cinema

Instead of a separate image for both of your eyes to create the 3D illusion. There`s a separate image for both players. This has been around for a while, just not used like this until recently.

turn shroud: 3d works becuase it lets each eye see a differnet plane of light(light that has been polarised to only oscilate in one way)these lenses make you only view either a horizontal plane or a vertical plane so the screen displays both but the glasses cancel out the other

I see potential for two people to watch different shows on the same TV as well. Only, what about sound? Even though you`re only seeing your own actions, you can still hear what the other player is doing.

I heard of this watching E3. I had no idea it could be done on passive 3D tvs. This is possibly the only reason I`d buy a 3D tv.

Cool if only two people are playing, it would be annoying if you were sitting and watching though.

Only applicable if you have one friend over since only two people can play and nobody can watch.

nice idea, however developers long since discovered you can make twice as much money selling 2 copies of a game instead of 1 and coding in a splitscreen option

I`ve heard about this with 3D TVs. It`s a nice application for them - even more exciting than actually watching a 3D movie.

Best use of a 3D TV IMO

Think of the applications, throw in a pair of wireless headphones and you can watch two tv shows on the same tv at the same time. No picture in picture

How do you watch them kill each other though?

Split onto another monitor on top and have that one the spectators?

I usually play with 2-3 other people.
