Juror number one needs a hearing aid. - "Juror number 1, were these your true and correct verdicts"...."Not Guilty".

What is the fascination with this case?!?! A quick check shows 14 (count them, FOURTEEN) cases of child murder pending for this county court. Why don`t these other cases get this kind of media coverage? As far as Ms. Anthony goes, she was found not guilty. End of story.

Searching chloroform on her computer, decomposition signs in her trunk, kid is found wrapped up in ducktape and a carpet in the woods, she claims a non-existent nanny kid napped her, lied about her job, then claims the kid accidentally drowned in the pool but instead of calling an ambulance, she did all of the above, and then is seen partying not giving a care. All phone calls between her and her parents while in jail consisted of her crying about how no one cares about her, nothing about her child.

Does that seem like an innocent and loving mother? She`ll get hers in the end.

OJ had overwhelming evidence proving he committed the crime, there was almost zero evidence that Casey had anything to do with the crime. That`s why everything the prosecution did was to attack her character. Should she have gone to jail or gotten the death penalty? yea probably, but sadly the courts actually did its job correctly, it came to a verdict based on the evidence that was presented.

The two trials can in no way be compared.

When one child dies, its a tragedy, when thousands of children die, it`s a statistic

Better to let a murderer go then to put an innocent person in jail. She`ll have her day if she really was part of this crime. Look at what happened to OJ.

The best thing I`ve seen about this all day was when Kim Kardashian tweeted today

"OMG CASEY ANTHONY WASN`T CONVICTED?!?!"

And somebody replied to her

"I know right?? It`s totally like that time your dad got OJ off"

I wish I could have seen her face X) Defense Attorney is a thankless job..

Not if appeals court declares a mistrial, which I doubt will happen.

I don`t care about her, or her child, because they`re as far away from me as all the people murdered by dictators around the world every day. If I started caring about poo like this, then I wouldn`t have time left for anything else, and this wouldn`t even be news if she was fat and ugly, or her child wasn`t cute.

And to all the people saying "ZOMG, she was SO GUILTY!" It`s not about assumptions. If there`s no evidence, then you HAVE to acquit as a juror. When juries start putting people away because they seem to fit the crime rather than they have actual evidence supporting their guilt, THAT is the true wrong.

I`d rather see 1000 guilty people go free than 1 innocent person end up in jail.

For starters I agree with Gerry. The popularity of this case blew my mind because the accused was neither a celebrity or rich/powerful. That being said, I feel like I kind of jinxed this case. The only thing I saw of it was the verdict reading today, and before it started, I said to my dad (who had been coerced by my mom into watching), "I think it`d be hilarious if the verdict was not guilty just to see how pissed off miss Nancy Grace gets."

f*ck it, the jury was the only group who received an unbiased view of the evidence. If they say there is reasonable doubt to her guilt, I accept there decision with a smile.

"I suspect an appeal will be in motion"

She cannot be retried. That`s called double jeopardy. Appeals are only for people who are convicted of a crime.

Unless you mean she will appeal her lesser charges.

I live in Florida, granted no one likes jury duty, but every sane person that got called for this trial had an excuse: "had to work" or "can`t be away from my family that long" or "i dont have time for this". So guess who ruled on it? Insane people that can`t get hired, people who are homeless and have no job, and people that have probably gotten away with similar crimes. Good job to Florida for, yet again, being red-neck ignorant people that only care about themselves. Hip hip hooray....

You have to give the jury a path to follow.

First Degree Murder, Second Degree Murder, Aggravated Child Abuse/Murder - these carry a very high standard of evidence.

With a purely circumstantial case, the DA was foolish to bring these charges. Sounds like the jury did it`s job well.

If you are angry with the verdict you should be angry with the prosecution. They clearly failed to make their case. And no that does not mean the system is broken. We should live in a country where it`s harder to find people guilty than to put innocent people in jail.

I`m with AJ on this one. For me a death penalty case would have to be airtight.

That was the most bizzare trial I have ever seen - once I heard the jury was already back, I figured for sure it was going to be a guilty verdict. But I do agree with AJ - there really was no evidence presented by the state.

Guys, keep in mind. There was no evidence linking her to the murder. No finger prints. No DNA. No weapon. No motive. Common sense says she did it, but common sense does not run our judicial system. At the end of the day, the prosecution did a horrible job, and they should all be sacked.

i dont have all the facts, but to think shes been completely exhonerated of all charges seems just a little odd. I suppose that leaves leaves us to believe she thought her child was being well kept by a mature responsible individual rather than in her trunk?
