Oh how the world would be changed if there was a superhero that could detect magnetic fields...

"Hold it there Bobin! - I detect a 50 gauss fridge magnet! - better not get your floppy disks get near that!!!"

[quote">We can detect magnetic fields?[/quote">

It was discovered a little while ago, but this infographic is stretching it. It`s proven that humans have the relevant genes. It`s proven that electromagnetic fields can affect human vision, so there`s something in our eyes that is sensitive to magnetic fields. It`s not proven that humans can actually detect magnetic fields, though it does seem possible.

Yes we can, no we can`t

I seriously doubt that humans have a "startling accurate sense of time". None of these researchers has ever waited for my wife to get ready to go some where. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!!

I can honestly say I have always had a way of feeling what the time is. Some days I don`t even check a clock and can still grasp how much time has passed. I guess it must have to do with the "body clock", or perhaps just because of routine activities.

I want to know if the breathing through the nostril one at a time thing is true- because it would totally explain why only half my nose is plugged at a time when I`m sick

so many skeptics.. if you don`t believe it go do your research. i for one have experienced many of these things and can say that they are accurately described with causality included. Just cause you`re to stupid or heard some pseudo-intellectual rumor opposing one of these from a friend does not make YOU right. RESEARCH, and or check sources... Noobs..

I had tonsil stones really bad for quite awhile..along with strep throat...Kids i reccomend if you can, get your tonsils out early. As an adult it sucks ass, they also took out my adenoids, parts of my soft pallete and some lesions...all caused by the tonsils that were finally removed. THAT SUCKED!

As soon as it mentions the left and right hemispheres of the brain being divided by logic and creativity, I stopped reading. That theory has been debunked, compromising the rest of this article.

People can sense the dilation of their blood vessels? It`s seems like a couple of those sense could be categorized under touch. They should have defined it for clarity.

Tonsil stones!!! Bloody hell, I just though I had fermented pieces of old food coming out of my back teeth! lol

This actually sounds quite believable. Half of these have been on QI so I`m inclined to take on board the rest.

And for the record, I am only breathing through my left nostil right now. And a fortnight ago I played badminton for 2 hours in a rare piece of physical activity and was sore for three days. A week later I played it for 2 hours again and was absolutly fine despite the same routine.

Time isn`t an artificial construct. Dividing it up is artificial and our perception of it as a steady flow unrelated to anything else is inaccurate, but it exists. Put simply, some things happen before other things.

What I`ve read about the nose breathing (and what`s true for me) is between your experience and this infographic. There`s a difference in the degree of usage of each nostril. Not one used and one unused and not equal use of each all the time.

This infographic seems accurate to me, unlike most of them.

time is a man made substance (for lack of better word)

also, the nose breathing is either false or I`m one of the 15%; I`m holding my finger under my nostril and there is definitely the same amount of air coming out both
