I`m from Wichita, KS. I miss Joyland :[ I drive by it every now and then, and I just wanna pull in and walk around. Too bad the gates are locked.

I think I saw a zombie peeking out of one of those windows. I would so love to go there.

Reminds me of Zombieland. I think that`s mostly because I read "Witchita" though

This looks more like a carnival, not an amusement park, unless they just used cheap carnival rides...Lameeeeee

@tedgp: It wasn`t really, but imagine you`re there.....by yourself.....and all off a sudden all the rides strat up by themselves....and the clown in the last picture starts laughing. Hope that helps.

I would like to go there and steal a bumper car, then turn it into a go-cart.

The photography techniques really added a lot to it... The best ones were the almost sepia-toned photos like 1, 6, and 31.

Where`s the mad scientist or super villain? Aren`t they required by law to move one into abandoned amusement parks after the places start to look creepy?
I think they are supposed to work like moth balls in an old box of clothes.

I love UrbEx but that was crap. 5 years is nothing, hence most of it still looks relatively normal, brightly painted etc.

There`s some great abandoned theme parks out there where they`ve been abandoned for longer and look SERIOUSLY creepy!
