    Anyone know why they didn`t just jump out the back after the humvees?

    If they did that, then there would be no challenge trying to find the humvees in the dark.

    It looked dark outside I think I would be freaking out if I couldn`t see where I was landing, but I guess they got that figured out.

    Dropping it like it`s hot would`ve been the humvees and all 50 guys out in less than 30 seconds. This was just a drop.

    They use that door because the cord attached to them pulls their chute after they jump.

    "Anyone know why they didn`t just jump out the back after the humvees?"

    They were using static lines with their parachutes. The line is attached to a cable in the aircraft. While I don`t know if the C17 can be configured with static lines at the ramp, I`m guessing even if it could be it wouldn`t be possible while also doing an airdrop.

    you probably couldnt find a drop zone big enough to allow the time to get the humvees then the jumpers out

    @356094

    Can you do that in the US?

    In Britain, we can only enlist if we haven`t been away from the country for more than two weeks.

    @19842011 That is a patently false statement. Every enlistee must pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). You cannot enlist in the US military without a high school diploma. You can enlist with a GED, but all branches limit the number of enlistees with GEDs, and they have to score higher on the ASVAB than those with high school diplomas.

    You can`t get in with any felonies even non-violent ones. If there was a way, I`d like to know.
