You know... more things require rewinding than just vhs tapes. We still say "rewind it" when we`re watching a movie and want to see a scene again, and that phrase will probably be in all of our vocabularies for a long time. I know 6 year olds who know what floppy discs are [although that may be because of being born into a computer profession]. Just because someone wasn`t alive when something existed, doesn`t mean they don`t know what they are. There are many teenagers who know what 8-tracks and vinyl records are. We know what phonographs and punch cards are. Come on, be reasonable.

Meh, didn`t make me feel old, but then again I`m only 19. 20 next month tho, that`s kinda scary...

You`d have to be pretty young to not know about floppy disks and VHS. I definitely remember them at 19, my lil bro remembers them at 16. Maybe 10 would be when you`d have no idea, but only cause most 3 year olds have no use for a floppy disk.

Landogriffin>> The internet was around in `93. My family didn`t have a computer, but my best friend`s family did. It was normal desktop pc, but the net itself was very primitive! LOL There was places to chat and such though.. the layout was just so different...

Me. I was in college. We had "telnet" for e-mail (text only, of course) and "irc chat" for live interactions. There was also porn, of course.

I guess I`m not old enough to feel old. I just found out a bunch of figures from my childhood are a lot older than me.

That did not make me feel old...I`ve always been a few years older than Bart Simpson, Macaulay Culkin, the child actors on various TV shows from the 1990`s, etc. Maybe I`m just a bit older than the target audience. I have a six year old son and he knows all about rewinding since I gave him dozens of VHS and music cassette tapes, plus an old walkman to listen to.

@patchouly - "This is aimed at the "30 something" crowd...right?"

It`s more aimed at the 18+ crowd. A very large percentage of the photos applied to my childhood (I`m 18).

Dunno. I got most of them. Never watched boy meets world. And im too young to remember aol in 93. I was 4. And im pretty sure i didnt use the internet until at least 8. My first solid memory of the internet existing was internet explorer at school, that was 3rd grade. So i was either 8 or nine when the internet was invented in my world. Seriously? Who had internet in 93` even you old ones didnt have internet in 93. I feel like internet didnt really catch on until late 90`s.

the know you`re old when you watch old friends episodes and realize they`re your age (on the show).

also,
"there hasn`t been a new seinfeld in 14[?] years"
thats a lie, there was a new episode in 2009, part of Curb your Enthusiasm
