@ LazyMe484: I grew up in a border town. Metric conversion and figuring U.S./Canadian exchange rates are like breathing.

As for the tank, I`m not crazy about the idea of myself as a Black Man building and driving a... well... Nazi tank. I`m thinking something more like a Vietnam-era M60.

I wonder how my neighbors will react when they see a small tank under construction in my garage?

:-D Yes. It looks like you converted that mass flawlessly!
well not a Panzer, but something from the U.S.
Now why would that matter exactly? It`s a mini motorized tank. It`s really just a toy. You must prefer the way US tanks look as opposed to others.

Not me though. A toy tank is a toy tank.

It would have to be a bit larger for me. There`s no way my 240 pound (190 kilograms for our Euro friends) frame is squeezing in there.

I want this... well not a Panzer, but something from the U.S.

Hmm... I think I just found the perfect project for my upcoming midlife crisis.

Do you know a design flaw of that little viewing hatch that he looks out of? If you hit a bump, you`re going to have smashed nose and/or back of the head. Shoulda been a T-34, airite?

Love the idea, but for three things: Sit a bit lower, would you, so your hair isn`t flying in the wind. Very un-tanky. Also, give it a bigger engine! Thirdly, it`s a tank and should therefore be able to produce some form of noise/smoke, as if something was fired. A real shot would be best, but if some think it too scary, noise and a smoke prorectile will do for me.

So cool. That looks to be about 1/3 scale. It would be easy to make fresh WWII movies using models in that scale.

Want-Want-Want!

If he`d built a Panzr IV he`d have more room... but I must congradulate him on his uber-geek Pz III!!! Nothing turns the ladies on like a Panzerkamphwagen!

vv I agree with @Gerry1, that moving bar sux!

it wouldnt be difficult to put a working gun in it. it would need to be redesigned though sadly
and japan isn`t allowed to have an army

I`d want one if the cannon really worked. But since you can`t kick ass in it, it`s worthless.

The New London Submarine Base in Connecticut has a real Japanese WWII mini-sub. Before I left they were restoring it, and had it tented because of asbestos. It was really cool, but not as practical as a tank.

Okay... time to get rid of that stupid facebook bar.

I kept trying to pause the video but the stupid "share" box kept popping up blocking my cursor.
